Blade Man Review: A Disappointing Ride for Me

Blade Man Story Explained

Last week, a K-drama called Blade Man was released on JioCinema, which I finally finished watching yesterday. I was very excited to watch it, and in the process of watching it, I lost a whole day, which means I spent the whole day in my room.

I was really excited to watch this K-drama because it stars Lee Dong-wook in the lead role. But, to be honest, I ended up feeling disappointed after watching Blade Man.

The story of this K-drama is very old, and for those who are a mature audience or a pro audience, this drama does not work for them; even the way the story is presented seems very useless.

The flow that should be felt in the story, such that you feel a proper connection from one scene to the next, was missing. The director's execution of the story is completely disappointing.

Leave the connection aside; you people will not even be able to understand the scenes as to what is actually happening on the show.

Blade Man Kdrama Review

Look, the story of this drama is very good, but if some talented person had taken the contract to execute it, then it would have been fun to watch.

Not only the execution of the story, but even the back story of the actors we get to see or the substance provided to them was also disappointing.

Even the biggest mystery of this K-drama has not been solved properly, which means when you finish its 18 episodes, you will be left with many unsolved questions in your mind, which the makers have not answered in this show despite giving 18 hours.

Till now, I have not commented on the production quality of this show. I know that this K-drama is very old, so obviously the CGI or VFX are very ordinary. The current Marvel or DC fans can hardly adjust themselves to this show.

The story of this drama is not engaging at all. The execution of the story is absolutely flawless. The story is very simple. It revolves around a man who struggles with anger issues and happens to have blades emerge from his waist when he's enraged. He is the CEO of a gaming company. Things take a turn when a girl enters his life, understanding him like no one else, and then Joo Hoong-in falls in love with that girl.

I would like to tell you all that the Hindi dubbing is quite good. If you want to watch this drama with your family, then there are some scenes that, if avoided, will make it family-friendly.

Conclusion

According to me, Blade Man will be liked only by those who are lovers of love stories. Those audiences who have not yet seen shows or movies made in epic-level superhero-type genres may like this K-drama.

Now, for those who are a class or mature audience who have explored many superhero genres till now, this is not a K-drama for them; you can easily skip it because there was a lot of potential in its story, but the way it was executed, it would not be able to give you fun, it would not be able to connect with you, and you would not be able to connect openly with the world of this drama.

The actors don't feel exciting at all; rather, they feel like dull or boring types. Even as per their performance, it is also very disappointing.

Anyway, for me, this was a disappointing experience with Lee Dong-wook, and I do not recommend you at all to spend your time on this K-drama.
