Kapil Sharma has started a new inning with Netflix by bringing his new show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, the first episode of which was released yesterday on Netflix, so let's find out whether the first episode is a fun ride or not.

So the concept of this new Kapil Sharma show is the same as what we used to see on the Sony channel, like different guests used to come there, Kapil used to talk to them, Kapil used to crack jokes, and then Kapil Sharma's friends, or should I say something from his team, people used to come to make the public and celebrities laugh even more, and then some people in the audience used to ask different questions to the celebrities, so the same concept has been continued in this new show also.

I'm not entirely sure why they decided to bring this show to OTT. It was already successful on Sony TV, with a dedicated audience enjoying it regularly. So, the decision to transition it to an online platform seems a bit puzzling.

There are many people who have never come to OTT, so maybe this move has been made only to attract that audience to OTT, because apart from this, I don't think there is any other reason why they should present the show on OTT instead of TV.

The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show Episode 1 Review

In the first episode, the energy of the show seemed a bit low at the beginning, despite jokes being cracked. However, things picked up when Sunil Grover, known as one of India's best comedians, made his entrance in his signature female character. His presence injected a burst of laughter and fun into the episode, starting things off on a high note.

As the episode progressed, there were some pauses, but it picked up again towards the end with the entry of Krishna Abhishek or Kiku Sharda. Their chemistry together brought back the fun, ending the episode on a strong and entertaining note.

Overall, despite some ups and downs, watching the first episode was a delightful experience, especially with those standout moments of laughter.

In short, for me, the first episode was kind of decent, and there were not many high points. I guess there will be more fun in the coming episodes. This was just the beginning.

This time, the show's set looks like an airport cafe, which is cool. But I didn't really feel the theme song was anything special. I found it annoying how much they were talking about Netflix. They were really promoting it! They even mentioned shows like Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" and her sister Riddhima's "Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives," which are on Netflix. It felt like Netflix was getting a lot of attention during the episode.

So somehow, it was a very smart move by Netflix to promote its platform. Apart from this, I had a complaint that there should have been a section for the audience so that there could be an interaction with the audience. That thing was missing; in my opinion, this should have happened because whenever there is audience interaction, a lot of comedy comes out.

Conclusion

Now let's see what happens in episode 2, and let me tell you that you will get to see every new episode every Saturday at 8 p.m. on the Netflix platform.

Guys, get ready for episode 2 because Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer are going to be the guests! But before that, let's talk about episode 1. That was my take on The Great Kapil Sharma Show's first episode. I hope you enjoyed the review! Don't forget to show some love by giving it a like and subscribing for more similar content.

Let's keep this fun ride going!
