Black Adam Movie Review

Adam wants to find a way to free himself from the evil forces. So, he takes on a different identity and begins a new life in order to plan his master's return.

Unfortunately, the best laid plans of mice and wizards often go awry in movies. He suffers from a self-harming impulse and ends up defeating a supervillain in the process.

Thus, as a consequence of this, Batson transforms into the adult superhero, 'Shazam'. Henceforth, the 'Shazam' is the defender of truth, justice and the American way.

At the outset, the movie appears to be a typical DC movie and is filled with ridiculous sequences. But the stakes are raised considerably in the second half. The film is a kid-friendly superhero movie which makes it an enjoyable watch. Black Adam is the most interesting character of the movie.

Black Adam has been a character from DC Comics for years now, but now he’s finally getting his big chance to show the world what he’s capable of. The cast of the movie are also mostly of African descent, and Black Adam even has his own look and persona that was inspired by the origins and background of the character.

The story goes like this: The Rock is set to play the role of Black Adam, a character he has been developing for years.

There’s a lot of hype surrounding this movie, because it could possibly finally introduce a very beloved and famous DC character to a wider audience, and to us in particular.

In short, Adam is definitely not just a simple guy looking for a way to make a living and a few bucks, he has so much potential, and his battle with Shazam is going to be very, very intense.

While I was excited about the release of this movie, I wasn’t expecting to absolutely love it.

In terms of execution, it was pretty fantastic, but as far as storyline goes, I wasn’t completely impressed, it didn’t feel like a completely cohesive story, the Black Adam / Shazam hate-hate relationship was so over-the-top, it wasn’t believable in the least.

With such a big budget, it’s not a shock that the movie was graphically impressive. But that shouldn’t have been the main thing I was excited about, the effects weren’t even that convincing.

The only solid and convincing thing in this movie was the fight between Adam and Shazam, both actors were so spot on that it made the entire thing worthwhile.

The action was great too, the best part of the movie was the climax, when Black Adam turns against his master and causes chaos throughout the city, because if he hadn’t wanted, they would never have gone toe to toe.

Overall, this movie was a blast, I can’t believe it was released so soon after The Fate of the Furious, it’s refreshing to see a movie that didn’t rely on shock value and was just a damn good film, even if it wasn’t completely great.

If you’re looking for a fun time with some good action, you should definitely check this one out.

If you’re the kind of person who can’t stand this kind of film, you should probably stay away from this one.

It’s well worth a watch, so grab a buddy, head to the theaters, and see this movie.

Black Adam Movie Rating: 6/10
