My review/opinion of the Artemis fowl book

Ok so I remember the very first time I read Artemis fowl, I was 13 and it was at summer camp and my mom has mailed me the book I would keep manipulating a fellow campers temper issue which would get him to causing events so I could sneak off and read the book (normally I’d get 5 chapters in before I was caught and I did this 7 times thru my time at the camp) and I would also stay up all night reading this book I just didn’t wanna put it down.

This book truly was and is a ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY PERFECT book for all of those of you who are into and like Sci-Fi, or Action, or Fantasy, or all of them. I would truthfully give this book and this book series is truly an amazing read, mr. Eoin Colfer, man you are a freaking talented Artist! You are a freaking GOD among the modern writers, you should keep writing keep blessing our eyes with your amazing writing. This book is about a genius intellectual 12 year old boy who is a criminal mastermind, who discovered a fairy realm and takes one fairy (holly short) hostage for a hefty reward.

Ok I will admit the whole take hostage bit of this books plot is alittle cliche but it doesn’t play this cliche out on a way that is just in your face instead it plays this out in a way that is truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly truly entertaining to read, colfer present it in a way that makes you feel that you are there with the characters experiencing everything with them and that is a sign of an amazing book. The plot is well fleshed out, all the characters are believable in there given roles for the story, are actually two dimensional and have depth and good level of actual development to them (something that often is overlooked in favor of the more action aspects which judging from the recent trailer for this movie is gonna be the case for the movie version).

Now while this book is amazing there are some aspects that kind of suck, like how it bounces between Artemis story line and the fairy world basically chapter to chapter without any warning, this can honestly get alittle annoying and honestly does make the book alittle hard to follow but even still does not take away from the genius of the book expesially in the relationship between Artemis and the fairy holly short (they hate eachother but in the books sequels there is this kind of romantic attraction towards eachother, funny thing this kind of mirrors a relationship I had with a bully of mine named holly frakes when I was in school so this also helped with my feeling of being in the shoes of the characters). So in the end my final rating for give this book a rating of 9/10

(and it’s only 9/10 because of the constant switching between worlds more than felt needed to tell the story) But anyway if you all enjoyed reading this article please push the heart button and don’t be afraid to drop me a top that would be SO SO SO HEAVILY VERY VERY VERY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY GREATLY appreciated
