Artificial intelligence has been evolving rapidly, and the latest tools and technologies in this space have made a significant impact on society. With tools such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, which is based on the GPT-3.5 architecture, people around the world can now enhance their productivity, creativity and access an AI-powered virtual assistant that can write essays, simplify complex ideas, write codes, and answer just about anything under the sun.

However, these advanced AI-powered chatbots come with a cost, especially when it comes to the latest and most advanced version, GPT-4. Nevertheless, New York-based software development company Forefront AI has launched a new tool called Forefront Chat, which allows users to access GPT-4 for free.

In addition to GPT-4, Forefront Chat provides users with the ability to try out image generation, custom personas, shareable chats and more on the platform. Users can select from a variety of personas that can assist them with various tasks. The tool also includes a plus button in the input box that enables users to toggle between GPT-4 and GPT-3.5.

To use Forefront Chat, users can simply log on to chat.forefront.ai, create an account with an email ID or an existing Google account. The tool works well on both desktop and mobile browsers. Although the website does not provide any instructions on how to create images, a video shared on the company's Twitter handle shows that users can use a hashtag followed by "imagine" (#imagine) as a prefix to prompts for image creation.

To test the image generation feature, we used prompts such as #Imagine yellow Taj Mahal, #Imagine Batman as Indian, and #Imagine a visual representation of India's population. The images generated were not of the highest quality, but they did a good job of representing their corresponding prompts.

We also tested regular ChatGPT and Forefront.AI chat side by side, and both worked at a similar pace. According to the LinkedIn profile of Forefront AI, Jimmy Greaser, Michael Tuck, and Carson Poole are the co-founders of the company. However, the company has not shared any other details related to the tool.

GPT-4, which stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer 4, is the latest iteration of San Francisco-based OpenAI's large language model in the GPT series. It is a multimodal large language model that is claimed to be faster, more efficient, and more powerful than GPT-3. At present, GPT-4 is only accessible to users who have subscribed to ChatGPT Plus, a premium service offered by OpenAI.

According to OpenAI, GPT-4 can generate captions, classifications, and analyses of any topic. It can handle up to 25,000 words of text, allowing it to create extended conversations. The company has also claimed that its latest model will produce less factually inaccurate responses. In addition, OpenAI has stated that GPT-4 is better than humans on numerous standardized tests.

The implications of having access to GPT-4 for free are significant, especially for researchers and businesses that require advanced AI capabilities but do not have the financial resources to subscribe to a premium service. This tool could democratize access to cutting-edge AI, making it more accessible to a wider range of users. It could also lead to more experimentation with AI and the development of new applications that were not possible before.

However, there are also concerns regarding the ethical implications of AI, particularly when it comes to generating content that could potentially be harmful or misleading. As AI technology becomes more sophisticated, it is crucial to ensure that it is used in a responsible and ethical manner. This includes implementing safeguards to prevent the spread of false information or harmful
