1. Background

Victor Webster was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on February 7, 1973. Even though he currently lives in California, he says he will always be a Canadian cowboy.

The handsome actor is of English, French, German, Italian, Scottish, and Spanish descent.

2. Teenage Years

Victor got in a lot of trouble when he was a teenager and was put out of school several times. To help him with his aggression and bad behavior, his parents sent him to a martial arts school. He learned quickly and soon received an undefeated record as an amateur kickboxer and heavyweight black belt. He became so good that he became a teacher of martial arts to help others learn what he had learned.

3. Modeling

Webster was a model for major brands such as Versace, Armani, Calvin Klein, and Valentino for a few years before he decided he wanted an acting career.

4. Acting Career

Victor made his acting debut in 1997 in a minor role in the Sunset Beach series. After appearing in only three episodes, he discovered that he wanted acting to be his full-time career.

Like so many other Hallmark stars, Victor became a regular on NBC's daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1999 to 2000. He played Nicholas Alamain long enough for people to get to know him and love his on-screen presence.

5. Hallmark Movies

Victor continued acting in minor roles until his first Hallmark movie, Puppy Love, was released on September 8, 2012, with Candace Cameron Bure as his co-star.

By 2017, Victor was starring in four movies in one year along with other popular Hallmark co-stars. He was a leading character, along with Danica McKellar in three of The Matchmaker Mysteries from 2019 through 2021.

Actor Victor Webster and actress Shantel VanSanten met when they were working together in the Hallmark movie Love Blossoms in 2017. It was the only Hallmark movie to Shantel's credit. They dated for four years before Victor proposed to her on February 9, 2021. They were married eight months later in October 2021.

Victor and Shantel exchanged their wedding vows in three separate ceremonies.

  1. They exchanged vows for the first time in an intimate civil ceremony outside the Pasadena City Hall in California.
  2. They exchanged vows in a second ceremony in Napa.
  3. Victor and Shantel's third ceremony was in the actress' hometown of Luverne, Minnesota.

8. Hobbies and Interests

Victor's talents are not limited to just acting. He has a passion for photography. Before he settled into acting, he worked as a stockbroker. He also owned an import/export company.

He holds a black belt and an undefeated record in Tae Kwon Do and a black belt in Brazilian jujitsu. He also holds two bronze medals from the world championships.

Victor was one of People magazine's "50 Most Eligible Bachelors" in 2002. However, he is not an eligible bachelor any longer.

The talented and giving actor is involved in and is quite committed to various charities that are dear to his heart.
