Maybe you think TikTok is dead because every three videos is a TokShop ad, but I think you're just weak.

My English teacher told me that I needed a good hook to capture the reader's attention. I'm sorry for being mean. But it's for a good cause! I'm trying to put y'all ON to something, you see. Some good fucking food. Quality Content! Art. These TikTok creators I'm about to list out for you are either side splittingly hilarious, incredibly artistic, outrageously creative, and exactly what you need to being back a little whimsy and childish wonder into your life. Now I will say, most of these creators are focused on anime, with . . . honestly, just one that doesn't. That's CP. But if you are an anime fan, and you've been keeping up with the popular titles, you'll love them! You'll find yourself quoting these videos all throughout your day, multiple times a day, and the shots of laughter will brush back the lichen that was growing over your heart.

1. Inevitably Dope (@inevitably_dope)

He's maintained for himself a solid, dependable niche. Commentating on anime (and cartoon) fights! But it's the way he does it though . . . lightning fast back and forth with himself, peppering in familiar quotes and lines from other anime shows, the sheer enthusiasm and appreciation for both fight choreography and animation style! It's always a pleasure to hear someone happily and enthusiastically talk about their special interests, and that feeling is only heightened with this excellent dude. Check him out, give him a follow, and enjoy the show.

2. RAB (@rabsopetty)

All my TikTok fans, sing it if you know it: "Roses are red. Weapons formed against me won't prosper. With these bands I summon . . . Big Ragga, The Opp Stoppah."

Yessir, Rab is the creator of that iconic line! Voice smooth like butter, whip sharp humor and Limitless Bands, this creator's a joy to have feature on your For You Page. And he's got a lot more going on than just that. In fact, he's got fully uploaded episodes of his "Hood" anime series on Youtube, so if you liked this then go support him on there. Rab's just gotten started on a Naruto redub series, so go there for some classic nostalgia.

3. Satoru Jojo (@satorujojo3)

Now how can you watch a clip like this, and not absolutely go and subscribe to this shining young talent? He's got nearly every voice down pat, but his shining talents are as Gojo and Itadori. He's also responsible for giving me my 2024 mantra: "We Ball Regardless!" Much smoother when you hear it in the redub he did of the JJK Shibuya arc. Jojo, of course, also delves into other animes like you see in the above clip, a redub of Attack on Titan. There's also plenty of cosplay content if you're interested!

4. CP (@thegirlwiththenotebook)

You ever heard a line so cold, spit so clean, you wished you had a way to record it instantly and engrave it forever? Well, that's CP's whole focus. Finding the best one liners on the app and memorializing it in her notebook of platinum record bangers. If you need a little help with comebacks and motivational sayings for downtrodden, not online friends, don't be afraid to seek some inspiration from her treasure trove.

5. Tobi Lou (@tobi2times)

Really, this creator is a fine example of physical comedy. Most (if not all? I haven't seen every video) of his videos deal with no talking, just subtitles on the screen to convey a scenario, and what you the viewer focuses on are his well emphasized facial expressions and body language. Always they are hilarious. Because honestly, those characters who get excited when they encounter an overpowered opponent are hella weird, and I think we can all agree we'd react a lot more like Tobi does.

6. Dead Riyah (@deadriyah)

Our last anime fan, and excellent TikTok creator, but certainly not the least! Dead Riyah is subtle, witty, and an awesome content creator who's casual style and sparkling humor are wonderful to watch. This video above is actually one of my favorite of hers, but don't be afraid to scroll and find what tickles your fancy.

Thanks for reading this far, and I hope you've got hours worth of new and outrageously funny viewing to occupy yourselves during a doom scrolling session. Happy Black History month, support creators now more than ever in an age of Artificial Thievery and dull imagination, and have a happy spring!
