5 X-Men villains who should be first in line for the MCU's reboot of the X-Men franchise

Who is most deserving of the Kevin Feige treatment?

Every villain pictured is deserving of a reboot or first time onscreen.

Now if anyone who considers themselves a comic book movie fan, you all are aware that Disney/Marvel has retained the film rights for X-Men. And for those who don't understand the story of why they didn't have them in the first place here's a quick explanation.

Back in the 90s, Marvel Comics was on the verge of going bankrupt due to a decrease in comic book sales. To keep their company afloat they began auctioning and selling the movie rights to a few of their top properties. One of those properties happened to be the X-Men universe who were sold to 20th Century Fox respectively. With that being said, Fox needed to produce an X-Men related film every few years to hold the rights. The deal came about back in 2017 when Fox agreed to resell the rights to Disney/Marvel. With a leader and a visionary of a producer such as Kevin Feige remaining at the helm for the time being and establishing a successful cinematic universe, there's no reason for this not to be a success!

Now we already know that an X-Men franchise reboot is coming within the MCU although the dates/projects are still unknown. When the time arises, here are the villains who are most deserving of the Feige treatment ( and a couple could use a serious redo).

#5) Mojo

The powerful mystic who runs "Mojoverse" which is in another dimension would be a delight to see.

In his world of television he is essentially an executive who'll go above and beyond for ratings, no matter the danger or limits. The concepts of his programs are reality tv meets gladiator style fights to the death. Fitting for a superhero film as his main nemesis is a former slave of his and one time X-Man Longshot. The MCU has a knack for bright colors and larger than life characters good, bad, and in between. A perfect reason why Mojo needs to be a part of it.

Also from a comedic standpoint he would do justice for the MCU.

#4) Apocalypse

A forced to be reckoned with, Apocalypse is one of the X-Men villains deserving of a good reboot but maybe some time to breathe due to the recent film from Fox.

The ancient mutant known as En Sabah Nur has a physical and intellectual presence that needs to be dominantly established on the big screen. Now it would probably be best if he was more of a set up big bad type of villain who it would take damn near every member of the X-Men to fight. Maybe even make a trilogy or a saga for "Age Of Apocalypse" alone. Doesn't really matter what or how Marvel plans on steering him, we'll know it will be within the right direction.

Just one request....make him scary as hell.

#3) Omega Red

The popular origin of Arkady Gregorivich Rossovich is he was a serial killer in the Soviet Union recruited by his government and became Omega Red.

His creation was also a failed attempt to birth the Russian version of Captain America through a serum. Known for his signature carbonadium tentacles, Omega Red has had many battles with mostly everyone's favorite X-Man, Wolverine. As they once did in the X-Men animated series from the early 90s, maybe since the Deadpool films are going to be staying the same along with reintroducing the mutant gentle giant X-Man Colossus, this could be a great way of adding hime to the mix as he is also a countryman of Russia.

It all makes beautiful sense.

#2) Magneto

Obviously we can not speak of the most popular mutant superhero team without mentioning their number one foe.

The master of magnetism.

Magneto.

The other major villain who deserves a redo. Although we've seen different interpretations of Magneto specifically from Sir Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender, respectfully those were under Fox. Seeing what the MCU would do for Magneto and which way they would go with him being in this modern era? Or would they take the route of doing a period piece set in the sixties with only the original five X-Men ( Cyclops, Angel, Beast, Iceman, and Jean Grey)?

Pretty sure everyone knows the origin for Magneto as a young boy, a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp in Poland during the Holocaust.

If you didn't, now you do.

It would be interesting to see if most of the world grew to bend a little bit when it comes to being liberal with mutant rights while Magneto still being skeptical and having other plans. The relationship he has with his former friend and colleague (Professor Charles Xavier the X-Men leader) will forever be timeless.

#1) Mr. Sinister

Also known as Nathaniel Essex, Mr. Sinister has been a villain within the X-Men universe who from many fans desperately want to observe his big screen debut.

Sinister is what you would call a baddie with extreme ambition. Following the lives of Jean Grey and Scott Summers (Cyclops) since they were children to eventually use their DNA to create the perfect race of mutants at their peak levels. In other words he has a hard on for playing God. Again their are so many possibilities not only within the MCU, but the X-Men universe alone because they have such a top tier rogues gallery.

Sinister leads a team of assassins name The Marauders. He is definitely a villain to savory as a build up or in a sequel that doesn't hold back.

Can you see this being a possibility?

Would you like to?

Sometimes the excitement of the unknown is the thing that keeps us coming back for more with every MCU feature film.
