It’s Friday night and you have a date. There’s a new restaurant that just opened on the other side of town and a new exhibit in the museum you want to see. You want to go to all these places, bringing your date along and hoping it will knock her socks off.

But in reality, you might not have enough time to prepare such a grand itinerary. You’d need to research the place, make sure the date is within your budget, and even take the time to call up a reservation.

It’s easy to get excited about planning which locations to take your date, but executing it can drain your energy. You might end up realizing it takes more work than you thought.

Sometimes, the best way to connect with someone is to just relax and cuddle on the couch. So we’ve compiled a list of romantic movies to watch on date night.

So are you ready to make some popcorn, relax on your couch with your date, and watch some good movies?

Here are our top 5 romantic picks:

Considered a great Hollywood epic film, the events in the movie follow closely to the real tragedy, and shows a beautiful love story with a sad ending.
