Streaming has already given us so many great horror shows like Midnight Mass, Stranger Things, and Lovecraft Country, and the best part is that some of them come from different parts of the world and explore fear from very different angles.

Korean, French and Spanish series have dominated the platforms, but there are also a few Mexican productions that are at the level of any foreign one, and that show that there are many ways to explore horror, even with a good dose of humor.

In terms of horror there is much to explore, there are series that are completely supernatural and fanciful, others are more grounded fiction and there are also projects that are based on the most disturbing true stories, among the Mexican series we have a bit of that, with series like Los Espookys taking a more comical tone, or with Haunted , which is more of a kind of documentary in which ordinary people share their darkest experiences.

And maybe there aren't many, but there are very good horror series created in Mexico, and it's worth giving them a try.
