150 Strongest MCU Characters Before Avengers: Doomsday

The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow with every movie and Disney+ series, introducing new heroes, villains, gods, mutants, and cosmic beings that constantly reshape the power hierarchy. With the MCU now featuring characters from across multiple universes and corners of the Marvel universe, figuring out who is truly the strongest has become more difficult than ever.

This list ranks 150 MCU characters from weakest to strongest, taking into account their greatest abilities, most powerful versions, and biggest accomplishments on screen. From ordinary humans like Nick Fury and Agent Coulson to cosmic entities capable of threatening entire worlds, the MCU has an enormous range of power.

Clarification for the Rankings

These rankings are based on each character's greatest demonstrated power and abilities in the MCU. Physical strength, durability, speed, combat skill, intelligence, magical abilities, weapons, technology, energy manipulation, and major feats all play a role in determining where a character belongs.

Each character is represented by the strongest version they have reached on screen. This means temporary power-ups and major upgrades can affect a character's placement, while abilities they have only been rumored or implied to possess are not considered.

The rankings are also based on how characters compare to one another within the MCU specifically. A character does not automatically rank higher because they are important, popular, or powerful in the comics. What matters most is what they have actually demonstrated in the MCU.

With 150 characters on the list, there are inevitably going to be some controversial placements. Some characters have fought opponents who are difficult to compare directly, while others have abilities that make them especially dangerous despite lacking overwhelming physical strength. The goal is to create the most consistent ranking possible while recognizing that some positions can always be debated.

So, starting from the weakest character on the list, here is every MCU character ranked from 150 to 1.

150. Agent Coulson

Phil Coulson is one of the most important ordinary humans in the MCU, but when it comes to raw power, he has very little to work with. Coulson is a highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with years of experience in combat, espionage, and weapons handling, but none of that gives him the physical abilities needed to compete with enhanced humans or superpowered individuals.

His resurrection gave him a second chance and eventually led to him becoming a major S.H.I.E.L.D. leader, but it did not turn him into a powerhouse. Coulson is resourceful, courageous, and extremely capable for a normal human, but against virtually anyone higher on this list, he would be completely outmatched.

149. Agent Hill

Maria Hill is one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most capable field agents and has proven herself to be an excellent fighter, marksman, and military operative. She was able to hold her own during the Battle of New York and has repeatedly operated alongside some of the MCU's most dangerous heroes.

Still, Hill is ultimately a highly trained human without superhuman strength, durability, speed, or other enhanced abilities. Her experience and tactical intelligence make her dangerous in a conventional fight, but there is a massive difference between being an elite agent and being a true superhuman.

148. Nakia

Nakia is an extremely skilled Wakandan warrior and spy who served as one of Wakanda's War Dogs. Her training allows her to fight highly trained opponents while making excellent use of Wakandan weapons and technology. She is particularly dangerous when using her ring blades, which give her greater offensive capability than most ordinary humans.

However, Nakia does not possess the enhanced physical abilities of the Black Panther or the strength of Wakanda's more powerful warriors. She is an exceptional fighter, but her abilities remain grounded enough to place her near the bottom of this list.

147. Battlestar

Lemar Hoskins, better known as Battlestar, is a highly trained soldier who served alongside John Walker as part of the U.S. government's Captain America program. He possesses excellent military training and is a capable hand-to-hand combatant who can fight effectively alongside a super-soldier.

The problem is that Battlestar himself never receives the Super Soldier Serum. His physical abilities are therefore limited to what an exceptionally fit and well-trained human can accomplish. That makes him dangerous against normal opponents, but he lacks the strength and durability needed to compete with most enhanced characters.

146. Razor Fist

Razor Fist is a skilled Ten Rings fighter whose most notable weapon is the cybernetic blade replacing his left forearm. The weapon gives him an enormous advantage in close quarters, allowing him to deliver powerful slashing attacks and giving him considerably more reach than an ordinary fighter.

He is skilled enough to challenge Shang-Chi and survive encounters with some highly capable opponents, but Razor Fist is still ultimately a human-level combatant with specialized equipment. His cybernetic weapon makes him dangerous, but it does not put him anywhere close to the MCU's genuinely superhuman fighters.

145. Nick Fury

Nick Fury has spent decades operating at the highest levels of espionage and military intelligence, making him one of the most experienced humans in the MCU. He is an excellent strategist, skilled with firearms, and capable of remaining calm in situations involving aliens, superheroes, and world-ending threats.

Despite his importance to the MCU, Fury has never possessed significant superhuman abilities. His greatest weapons are his intelligence, leadership, resources, and experience. Those qualities make him incredibly valuable to the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D., but they do not make him particularly powerful in a direct fight.

144. Kate Bishop

Kate Bishop is an exceptionally talented archer who has demonstrated impressive accuracy, agility, and hand-to-hand combat skills. Despite having no superhuman abilities, she was able to survive encounters with heavily armed criminals and even fight alongside Clint Barton during the events of Hawkeye.

Her skill with a bow makes her much more dangerous at range than the average human, and her athleticism allows her to hold her own against trained opponents. Still, Kate lacks enhanced strength, durability, or speed, which puts a ceiling on how high she can climb in a ranking filled with superhumans.

143. Echo

Maya Lopez is a highly skilled fighter with an impressive ability to study and replicate the movements of her opponents. Her training and natural athletic ability make her one of the more dangerous non-powered human fighters in the MCU, and she has successfully taken on groups of armed enemies and highly trained combatants.

Her greatest advantage is her skill rather than overwhelming physical power. Echo's abilities become considerably more dangerous after she begins embracing her connection to her ancestors, but even then, she remains far below the truly powerful superhumans on this list.

142. Kingpin

Wilson Fisk is one of the physically strongest normal humans in the MCU. Despite his enormous size, Fisk is surprisingly fast and capable of taking tremendous punishment. He has overpowered trained fighters, survived serious injuries, and routinely relies on his immense strength to overwhelm opponents.

His greatest limitation is that he is still fundamentally human. Fisk can overpower ordinary people with ease, but once he faces characters with genuine superhuman strength, energy attacks, enhanced durability, or advanced technology, his physical advantages become much less meaningful.

141. Xialing

Xialing is an extremely talented martial artist who spent years training herself after being pushed aside by her father, Wenwu. She eventually became skilled enough to compete against some of the Ten Rings' best fighters and proved herself during the battle against the Dweller in Darkness.

Her combat ability is impressive, particularly when combined with her agility and weapons training. However, Xialing does not possess any major superhuman enhancement. She is an elite martial artist rather than a character with overwhelming physical power, which keeps her toward the bottom of the overall ranking.

140. Death Dealer

Death Dealer is one of the Ten Rings' most skilled assassins and was feared even among highly trained warriors. He possesses exceptional speed, agility, stealth, and martial arts ability, making him a deadly opponent in close combat.

His greatest weakness is that his abilities are still primarily based on training rather than supernatural or biological enhancement. He can defeat ordinary fighters with ease and challenge skilled warriors, but his lack of significant superhuman durability or strength ultimately limits his position.

139. Talos

Talos is a Skrull leader with decades of experience in combat, espionage, and infiltration. His ability to shapeshift makes him particularly useful for deception and intelligence operations, allowing him to perfectly imitate other people and infiltrate organizations that would otherwise be inaccessible.

However, shapeshifting does not make Talos physically overwhelming. He can fight and survive against ordinary opponents, but he has never demonstrated the kind of strength or durability possessed by the MCU's more powerful aliens and enhanced humans. His greatest abilities are strategic rather than destructive.

138. Crossbones

Brock Rumlow is one of the MCU's most dangerous conventional fighters. Before becoming Crossbones, he was a highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D. operative and member of the STRIKE team, giving him extensive military and hand-to-hand combat experience. His armored Crossbones gear also provides additional protection and offensive capabilities.

Rumlow was skilled enough to challenge Captain America directly, but Steve Rogers was operating on an entirely different physical level. Crossbones has no true superhuman abilities of his own, and his armor only goes so far against the stronger characters in the MCU.

137. Shocker

Herman Schultz is a skilled criminal and engineer who uses specialized gauntlets capable of producing powerful kinetic blasts. These weapons make him significantly more dangerous than an ordinary human and give him the ability to knock opponents backward and cause serious damage from a distance.

His equipment is the main reason he ranks this high. Without the gauntlets, Shocker is simply a trained criminal, and even with them, he lacks the speed, durability, and physical strength of most enhanced characters. His technology makes him dangerous, but it is not enough to compete with the MCU's true heavy hitters.

136. Falcon (Joaquin Torres)

Joaquin Torres becomes the new Falcon after Sam Wilson takes on the mantle of Captain America. As a U.S. Air Force intelligence officer, Torres already has military training before receiving the Falcon wingsuit, and his experience working alongside Sam gives him a strong foundation as a superhero.

The Falcon suit gives Torres flight, impressive aerial maneuverability, and access to specialized weapons and technology. He is capable of fighting alongside Captain America and has proven himself during major missions, but he does not have enhanced physical strength or durability. His equipment makes him considerably more dangerous than an ordinary soldier, but against the superhumans higher on this list, Falcon is still at a major disadvantage.

135. Klaue

Ulysses Klaue is one of the most dangerous criminals in the MCU without possessing any natural superhuman abilities. He is an experienced arms dealer and weapons expert who has spent years dealing with some of the world's most dangerous people. His knowledge of Wakandan technology also makes him particularly valuable as a criminal.

Klaue's biggest advantage comes from the sonic weapon attached to his prosthetic arm. The weapon can fire powerful blasts capable of knocking opponents backward and destroying objects, giving him considerably more offensive power than a normal human. Still, his physical abilities remain largely human, keeping him near the bottom of the ranking.

134. Whiplash

Ivan Vanko is a brilliant engineer who turns his knowledge of Stark technology into a formidable weapon. His electrified whips are capable of cutting through metal and delivering devastating electrical attacks, while his armored suit gives him enhanced protection and strength.

Whiplash's technology allowed him to fight Iron Man and War Machine simultaneously during the Monaco Grand Prix and later survive a prolonged battle against both heroes. However, his armor is still nowhere near as versatile or powerful as Tony Stark's later suits, which keeps Whiplash relatively low on the list.

133. M'Baku

M'Baku is the leader of the Jabari Tribe and one of Wakanda's strongest warriors. His enormous size and physical strength make him a formidable hand-to-hand fighter, and he has demonstrated the ability to overpower ordinary soldiers and survive battles against enhanced opponents.

M'Baku's greatest advantage is his raw physicality. He is exceptionally strong for a human, but he does not possess the Black Panther's enhanced abilities or the technological advantages of Wakanda's most advanced warriors. That places him below the MCU's more powerful enhanced fighters.

132. Elektra

Elektra Natchios is one of the most skilled martial artists in the MCU. She has trained extensively in multiple forms of combat and is capable of taking on groups of highly trained opponents while using weapons such as her signature sais.

Her resurrection and connection to the Hand make her considerably more dangerous than an ordinary assassin, but she still lacks the overwhelming physical abilities of the MCU's enhanced characters. Elektra's skill allows her to compete with much stronger opponents, but her raw power remains limited.

131. Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones possesses genuine superhuman strength and durability, immediately separating her from most of the street-level characters below her. She can lift extremely heavy objects, overpower normal humans with ease, and survive impacts that would seriously injure an ordinary person.

Jessica's strength is impressive enough to make her one of the more physically powerful street-level heroes, but she lacks the speed, combat training, and versatility of many characters above her. Her abilities are primarily physical, which limits her effectiveness against opponents with powerful ranged or specialized abilities.

130. Scorpion

Mac Gargan is a dangerous criminal who becomes even more threatening after receiving advanced armor and a mechanical tail. The suit provides enhanced strength, durability, and a powerful weapon that can be used to strike opponents from a distance.

Scorpion's biggest advantage is his equipment rather than his natural abilities. He has the potential to be a serious threat to Spider-Man and other street-level heroes, but he has not demonstrated the same level of power or versatility as the stronger enhanced villains in the MCU.

129. Bullseye

Bullseye is one of the deadliest human assassins in the MCU because almost anything can become a weapon in his hands. His extraordinary accuracy allows him to turn objects such as coins, pens, and other everyday items into potentially lethal projectiles.

His abilities become even more dangerous when combined with his exceptional reflexes and combat training. However, Bullseye does not have the superhuman strength or durability of many characters higher on this list. His lethality comes primarily from precision and skill rather than overwhelming power.

128. The Punisher

Frank Castle is one of the most experienced and ruthless human combatants in the MCU. His military background, weapons expertise, tactical intelligence, and willingness to fight through extreme injuries make him extraordinarily dangerous in a conventional battle.

Punisher has taken on heavily armed groups by himself and consistently survives situations that would overwhelm ordinary people. Still, Frank is ultimately human. Against characters with genuine superhuman strength, speed, durability, or energy-based abilities, his conventional weapons can only take him so far.

127. Okoye

Okoye is one of Wakanda's greatest warriors and the leader of the Dora Milaje. Her years of training have made her an exceptional fighter capable of taking on highly skilled opponents, and her vibranium spear gives her both offensive and defensive advantages.

She has fought members of the Black Order and participated in some of the MCU's largest battles. Okoye's skill allows her to compete with significantly stronger opponents, but she does not possess the heart-shaped herb or another form of superhuman enhancement, keeping her below Wakanda's most powerful warriors.

126. Black Widow (Yelena Belova)

Natasha Romanoff is arguably one of the most accomplished human fighters in the MCU. Her extensive training, athleticism, espionage experience, and mastery of multiple weapons allow her to fight opponents who are physically stronger than she is.

Natasha has survived battles against super-soldiers, aliens, assassins, and enhanced enemies through skill and determination. She is one of the most dangerous non-powered humans on the list, but her lack of superhuman strength or durability ultimately prevents her from competing with the higher-ranked characters.

125. Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff)

Yelena Belova is every bit as dangerous as an elite assassin should be. She received extensive training in the Red Room, making her highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, knives, and other weapons. She is also exceptionally agile and durable for a normal human.

Yelena has fought alongside Natasha and other enhanced heroes while holding her own against dangerous opponents. She does not possess the raw physical power of a super-soldier, however, and her abilities remain grounded compared with the enhanced characters above her.

124. Hawkeye

Clint Barton has no superhuman abilities, but his mastery of archery makes him one of the most dangerous humans in the MCU. His accuracy is extraordinary, and his specialized trick arrows give him options ranging from explosives to electrical attacks.

Clint has repeatedly fought alongside the Avengers despite having no enhanced physiology. His ability to hit nearly impossible targets and remain effective against vastly more powerful opponents is a testament to his skill. Still, without his weapons, he is ultimately a highly trained human fighter.

123. Red Guardian

Alexei Shostakov is a Soviet super-soldier who possesses enhanced strength, durability, and physical power. His abilities make him significantly stronger than an ordinary human, and he can overpower opponents who would easily defeat normal soldiers.

However, Red Guardian is not on the same level as Captain America at his peak. His age and declining physical condition also limit what he can do compared with younger enhanced fighters. He remains a formidable super-soldier, but there are many more powerful versions of enhanced humans in the MCU.

122. Isaiah Bradley

Isaiah Bradley was one of the earliest successful recipients of the Super Soldier Serum and was used by the U.S. government for dangerous missions. The serum gave him enhanced strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, and durability far beyond a normal human.

His experience and physical abilities make him a formidable fighter even decades after his military career. However, Isaiah's age means he is no longer operating at the peak of his physical capabilities. He still belongs comfortably among the MCU's enhanced fighters, but younger super-soldiers rank above him.

121. Taskmaster

Taskmaster possesses one of the most useful combat abilities among the MCU's street-level characters. After receiving advanced cybernetic enhancements, she can analyze an opponent's movements and reproduce their fighting techniques, allowing her to mimic the styles of highly skilled fighters.

Her armor and photographic reflexes make her extremely difficult to fight, especially against opponents who rely heavily on technique. She can replicate moves from characters such as Captain America, Black Panther, and Black Widow, but copying someone's fighting style does not automatically give her their physical abilities. Against genuinely superhuman opponents, that distinction becomes extremely important.

120. Vulture

Adrian Toomes is a dangerous criminal who uses a heavily armored flight suit built from salvaged Chitauri and other advanced alien technology. The suit gives him enhanced strength, durability, flight, and a variety of weapons that make him a serious threat to Spider-Man.

Vulture's armor allows him to carry extremely heavy objects and survive impacts that would kill an ordinary human. His experience as a salvage operator also makes him an effective engineer and fighter. However, his dependence on his suit and relatively limited speed and durability keep him below most of the MCU's enhanced characters.

119. Mysterio

Quentin Beck does not possess superhuman abilities, but his technology makes him an extremely dangerous opponent. Using drones, holograms, weapons, and advanced artificial intelligence, Beck can create illusions convincing enough to fool even Spider-Man's enhanced senses.

Mysterio's greatest strength is his ability to control the battlefield and manipulate his opponent's perception. His illusions can make an enemy believe they are facing enormous threats or falling through entire environments. However, once his technology is understood and disrupted, Beck himself is just a highly intelligent but physically normal human.

118. Daredevil

Matt Murdock is one of the most skilled street-level fighters in the MCU. His heightened senses allow him to hear heartbeats, detect movement, and navigate his surroundings despite being blind. Combined with years of martial arts training, these abilities make him extraordinarily difficult to surprise.

Daredevil has defeated groups of armed criminals and fought opponents considerably stronger than himself through skill and determination. His physical abilities are still mostly human, however, and he lacks the strength and durability of the enhanced fighters above him.

117. Korath

Korath the Pursuer is a Kree warrior and elite member of the Kree military. His extensive combat experience, physical strength, and proficiency with advanced weapons make him significantly more dangerous than an ordinary human.

Korath has fought members of the Guardians and other enhanced opponents while operating as a highly experienced soldier. His Kree physiology gives him an advantage in physical confrontations, but he lacks the overwhelming abilities of the most powerful Kree and cosmic characters in the MCU.

116. Red Skull

Johann Schmidt becomes the Red Skull after being exposed to an imperfect version of the Super Soldier Serum. The transformation gives him enhanced physical abilities, including greater strength, speed, and durability, although he remains below Steve Rogers.

Red Skull's intelligence and extensive military experience make him even more dangerous. He also possesses considerable knowledge of advanced weaponry and Hydra technology. His greatest limitation is that his physical enhancements never approach the level of the MCU's strongest super-soldiers.

115. Yon-Rogg

Yon-Rogg is an elite Kree warrior and highly experienced military commander. He is an exceptional hand-to-hand combatant who was capable of training Carol Danvers and fighting her even before she fully understood the extent of her powers.

His Kree physiology gives him enhanced physical abilities compared with humans, while his years of military experience make him extremely dangerous in combat. Unfortunately for Yon-Rogg, his abilities are completely overshadowed once Carol gains control of her full power.

114. Peggy Carter

Peggy Carter is an exceptionally capable S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who becomes even more powerful after receiving the Super Soldier Serum in an alternate reality. As Captain Carter, she possesses enhanced strength, speed, agility, stamina, and durability.

Her skill with a shield and extensive combat training make her a formidable super-soldier. She has fought powerful opponents and survived battles against enemies far beyond normal human capability. Still, Captain Carter has not demonstrated the same level of raw power as the MCU's strongest enhanced beings.

113. John Walker

John Walker becomes the government's replacement Captain America and eventually receives the Super Soldier Serum. The enhancement dramatically increases his strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, and durability, allowing him to compete with other super-soldiers.

Walker is also a highly trained soldier with significant combat experience. His aggression can make him especially dangerous in a fight, but his lack of experience compared with Steve Rogers and his emotional instability hold him back. He is powerful, but not one of the MCU's elite super-soldiers.

112. Bucky Barnes

Bucky Barnes combines decades of combat experience with the physical enhancements of the Super Soldier Serum and a powerful cybernetic arm. His metal arm gives him enormous strength and allows him to perform feats far beyond a normal human.

Bucky has fought alongside Captain America and against some of the MCU's most dangerous opponents. His extensive experience as both a soldier and assassin makes him one of the most effective super-soldiers in the MCU. However, he still falls short of the strongest enhanced characters in terms of raw physical power.

111. Lizard

Dr. Curt Connors transforms into the Lizard after experimenting with a serum designed to regrow his missing arm. The transformation gives him enormous strength, speed, agility, and regenerative abilities, turning him into a terrifying physical threat.

Lizard can overpower Spider-Man and survive severe injuries that would incapacitate a normal person. His regenerative abilities also make him difficult to put down permanently. However, his lack of sophisticated ranged attacks or major energy abilities keeps him below many of the stronger superhumans on this list.

110. Blade

Blade is a highly skilled vampire hunter whose unique physiology gives him many advantages over normal humans. As a Daywalker, he possesses enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, senses, and healing abilities while being able to function in sunlight.

His centuries of experience fighting supernatural enemies make him especially dangerous at close range. Blade is an expert with both weapons and hand-to-hand combat, allowing him to take on enemies that would overwhelm ordinary fighters. His power is still primarily physical, though, keeping him below the MCU's more versatile superhumans.

109. Doctor Octopus

Otto Octavius becomes a dangerous superhuman-level threat through the four mechanical tentacles attached to his body. The arms provide immense strength, speed, reach, and precision, allowing him to fight Spider-Man directly and overpower him in close quarters.

The tentacles can tear through metal, manipulate heavy objects, and attack from multiple directions simultaneously. Otto's genius-level intellect makes the mechanical arms even more effective. His greatest limitation is his human body, which remains vulnerable when his mechanical advantage is overcome.

108. Iron Monger

Obadiah Stane's Iron Monger armor is essentially a massive and heavily armed version of the technology Tony Stark developed for the Iron Man suits. It provides tremendous strength, durability, flight, and powerful weaponry.

Iron Monger was strong enough to overpower Tony's first Iron Man suit and withstand significant punishment. However, its enormous size makes it slower and less maneuverable than later Iron Man armor. It also lacks the technological versatility of Tony's increasingly advanced suits.

107. Fandral

Fandral is one of Asgard's elite warriors and a member of the Warriors Three. His centuries of combat experience, enhanced Asgardian physiology, and exceptional swordsmanship make him significantly stronger and more durable than a human.

Fandral has fought alongside Thor against some of the Nine Realms' most dangerous enemies. His skill with a sword is his greatest advantage, but he lacks the overwhelming power of Asgard's strongest warriors. Compared with Thor, Valkyrie, or Hela, Fandral is clearly operating on a lower level.

106. Volstagg

Volstagg is another member of the Warriors Three and is distinguished by his enormous size and physical strength. His Asgardian physiology allows him to survive injuries that would be fatal to humans, while his sheer strength makes him an effective frontline fighter.

Volstagg has spent centuries fighting alongside Thor and the other Asgardians, giving him tremendous combat experience. His physical power is impressive, but he does not possess the speed, magical abilities, or overwhelming strength of Asgard's highest-tier warriors.

105. Hogun

Hogun is one of the most physically powerful members of the Warriors Three and an experienced Asgardian warrior. His strength, durability, and endurance are far beyond those of a normal human, and he has spent centuries fighting alongside Thor and other Asgardians.

His biggest advantage is his combat experience. Hogun is an excellent fighter and can take on powerful enemies with his weapons and physical strength. However, compared with the stronger Asgardians and superhumans on this list, he lacks the overwhelming abilities needed to rank much higher.

104. Sif

Sif is one of Asgard's most skilled warriors and has fought alongside Thor for centuries. Like other Asgardians, she possesses enhanced strength, speed, durability, and longevity, allowing her to survive attacks that would easily kill an ordinary human.

Her greatest strength is her skill with a sword. Sif is an experienced warrior who can hold her own against powerful opponents, but she does not possess the raw power of characters like Thor, Hela, or even some of the stronger Asgardians. That keeps her toward the lower end of the superhuman portion of the ranking.

103. Gambit

Gambit is a mutant capable of charging objects with kinetic energy and releasing that energy through explosive attacks. His playing cards can become surprisingly powerful weapons, while his staff gives him another way to fight at close range.

Gambit's abilities make him much more dangerous than a normal human, especially when he has time to charge objects and use them creatively. However, his MCU appearances have not demonstrated the same level of raw power or durability as many of the mutants and enhanced characters ranked above him.

102. Ms. Marvel

Kamala Khan has one of the more unusual powers in the MCU. Her mutant abilities allow her to create solid energy constructs that she can use as shields, platforms, fists, and enlarged limbs. She can also use these abilities to greatly increase her reach and mobility.

Kamala is still relatively inexperienced compared with many heroes on this list, but her powers give her plenty of versatility. 101. Ajak

Ajak is the leader of the Eternals and possesses the same basic superhuman physical abilities that make the group so dangerous. She is incredibly strong, durable, and long-lived, allowing her to survive situations that would overwhelm ordinary humans.

Her most important ability is her healing power. Ajak can use cosmic energy to heal other Eternals, making her extremely valuable to her team. The problem is that she does not have the offensive abilities of characters like Thena, Ikaris, or Gilgamesh, which keeps her lower on the overall ranking.

100. Sprite

Sprite is an Eternal with the ability to create incredibly convincing illusions. She can make herself or other objects appear completely different, allowing her to deceive enemies and manipulate what they believe they are seeing.

She also possesses the enhanced durability and longevity of an Eternal, but her physical abilities are not as impressive as those of the group's strongest fighters. Sprite's powers are extremely useful in the right situation, but they are much more dependent on deception than raw destructive power.

99. Proxima Midnight

Proxima Midnight is one of Thanos' most dangerous warriors and a member of the Black Order. She possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and durability, making her more than capable of fighting enhanced opponents.

Her spear is also an extremely effective weapon, and she has enough combat skill to challenge some of Earth's strongest heroes in battle. Proxima is not on the level of Thanos himself or the most powerful members of his army, but she is still a formidable warrior who belongs well above most conventional superhumans.

98. Rocket Raccoon

Rocket may look like a small animal, but he is one of the most dangerous technical minds in the MCU. His intelligence allows him to create advanced weapons, vehicles, traps, and other technology that can give him a major advantage in battle.

Rocket is also an experienced fighter who regularly carries heavy weapons and explosives. His biggest weakness is his physical size and durability. He cannot simply overpower most of the characters above him, but his intelligence, weapons, and ability to improvise make him far more dangerous than his appearance suggests.

97. Wonder Man

Simon Williams is a superhuman whose abilities put him well beyond an ordinary human. His enhanced physical strength and durability allow him to survive and perform feats that normal people simply could not match.

What makes Wonder Man especially interesting is that his powers give him the potential to become significantly more dangerous in a direct fight. He combines physical power with the experience and confidence of someone who has spent years working in high-pressure situations. He ranks below the more established powerhouses here, but he has plenty of room to rise as his MCU story develops.

96. Black Panther (Shuri)

After taking the heart-shaped herb, Shuri becomes the new Black Panther and gains enhanced strength, speed, agility, durability, and senses. She also combines those abilities with some of the most advanced technology in the MCU.

Her vibranium suit gives her another major advantage by protecting her from attacks and storing kinetic energy that can be released against her opponents. Shuri is also a highly intelligent inventor and an experienced fighter. She does not have the combat history of T'Challa, but her combination of technology and the Black Panther abilities makes her a very dangerous opponent.

95. Killmonger

Erik Killmonger became a superhuman after consuming the heart-shaped herb, gaining the enhanced strength, speed, agility, senses, and durability associated with the Black Panther.

What makes Killmonger especially dangerous is his exceptional combat training. He was already an elite soldier and fighter before receiving his enhancements, allowing him to immediately make use of his new abilities. His vibranium armor and weapons make him even more dangerous, although he ultimately lacks the experience and refinement of the very best Black Panthers.

94. Black Panther (T'Challa)

T'Challa is one of the most complete fighters in the MCU. The heart-shaped herb gives him enhanced strength, speed, agility, senses, and durability, while his vibranium suit provides tremendous protection and absorbs kinetic energy.

T'Challa also has years of combat training and experience against some of the strongest enemies on Earth. His claws, enhanced physical abilities, and advanced Wakandan technology make him extremely difficult to fight at close range. He is not a cosmic-level character, but among Earth's enhanced warriors, he is one of the most dangerous.

93. Captain America (Sam Wilson)

Sam Wilson is a very different Captain America from Steve Rogers. He does not have the super-soldier serum, but he compensates with years of combat experience, exceptional athletic ability, the vibranium shield, and his advanced wingsuit.

His ability to fight from the air gives him a major advantage against many opponents. He can rapidly change positions, attack from unexpected angles, and use his wings and shield together in combat. Sam's greatest strengths are his skill and tactical intelligence, allowing him to compete with physically stronger opponents even without superhuman strength.

92. Green Goblin

Norman Osborn's transformation gives him enormous increases in strength, speed, agility, durability, and endurance. He is strong enough to overpower Spider-Man in close combat and durable enough to survive punishment that would kill an ordinary person.

His glider and arsenal of explosives make him even more dangerous at range. What truly separates Green Goblin from many other enhanced humans is his brutality and unpredictability. He is willing to fight without restraint, and his combination of physical power, technology, and intelligence makes him one of Spider-Man's most dangerous enemies.

91. Phastos

Phastos is one of the most powerful and versatile members of the Eternals. His greatest ability is his control over cosmic energy, which he uses to create and manipulate incredibly advanced technology during battle.

Rather than simply relying on physical strength, Phastos can construct weapons, restraints, machines, and other devices almost instantly. His intelligence is also among the greatest in the MCU, allowing him to invent technology far beyond what most humans can understand. While he is not one of the strongest Eternals physically, his combination of cosmic abilities and technological genius makes him extremely dangerous.

90. Kingo

Kingo is one of the strongest physical fighters among the Eternals and has spent thousands of years developing his abilities. Like the rest of the Eternals, he possesses enhanced strength, speed, durability, and longevity that put him far above ordinary humans.

His biggest advantage is his ability to fire powerful cosmic energy projectiles from his fingertips. Kingo can unleash rapid blasts from a distance while still being a capable close-range fighter. However, his overall power is limited compared with the stronger Eternals, especially those with greater physical strength or more versatile abilities.

89. Mr. Fantastic

Reed Richards is one of the smartest people in the MCU, but his greatest advantage in combat comes from his incredible ability to stretch and manipulate his body. He can extend his limbs, restrain opponents, reach distant targets, and absorb certain impacts by changing his body's shape.

His intelligence makes him even more dangerous because he can quickly analyze an opponent and find creative ways to use his powers. Reed is not a powerhouse physically, though, and his durability is nowhere near characters such as Hulk or the stronger Eternals. His ranking is largely based on his combination of intelligence and versatility.

88. Ironheart

Riri Williams is a brilliant young inventor who created her own advanced Iron Man-style armor. Her suit gives her flight, enhanced strength, durability, energy weapons, and impressive mobility in combat.

What makes Riri stand out is that she developed much of her technology herself, meaning her greatest weapon is arguably her intelligence. She can improve and modify her armor to handle different situations. She does not yet have the experience of Tony Stark, and her suit is not on the same level as the strongest Iron Man armor, but she is still an extremely capable armored hero.

87. Aldrich Killian

Aldrich Killian becomes incredibly dangerous after injecting himself with Extremis. The procedure gives him enhanced strength, speed, durability, healing, and the ability to generate enormous amounts of heat.

Killian can regenerate from devastating injuries and even manipulate his body's temperature enough to melt or destroy metal. He is also a highly intelligent scientist and businessman. His biggest weakness is that his abilities are primarily physical and heat-based, leaving him vulnerable to characters who possess much greater raw power or more versatile abilities.

86. War Machine

James Rhodes has spent years operating some of the most advanced military armor in the MCU. His War Machine suits provide enhanced strength, flight, heavy weapons, machine guns, missiles, and powerful energy attacks.

Rhodey is also an experienced soldier who knows how to use his armor effectively under pressure. His biggest advantage over many armored characters is his military training and willingness to use heavy firepower. He ranks below Iron Man because Tony's technology and improvisational ability have consistently been more advanced, but War Machine remains one of Earth's most dangerous weapons.

85. Yellowjacket

Darren Cross uses the Yellowjacket suit to combine advanced technology with the ability to shrink to microscopic sizes. The armor gives him flight, enhanced strength, energy weapons, and powerful insect-like mobility.

His ability to rapidly change size makes him especially difficult to fight. He can attack from unexpected angles and become extremely difficult to see while still carrying enough firepower to seriously injure an opponent. 83. Ghost

His greatest weakness in a ranking like this is that most of his abilities are focused on perception and combat rather than overwhelming destructive power. Still, his Asgardian physiology makes him far more powerful than most Earth-based heroes.

80. Malekith

Malekith is the leader of the Dark Elves and becomes significantly more powerful when wielding the Aether, although this ranking considers his overall capabilities rather than simply treating the Reality Stone as a permanent part of his arsenal.

Even without the Aether, Malekith is an ancient and powerful being with enhanced strength, durability, and combat ability. With the Aether, however, his potential rises dramatically because he can manipulate reality on a massive scale. His placement reflects his overall position among MCU villains rather than putting him alongside the cosmic entities that naturally wield that level of power.

79. Drax

Drax is one of the MCU's strongest physical fighters. His enormous strength and durability allow him to survive brutal attacks and overpower enemies that would easily defeat ordinary humans.

He is also an experienced warrior who has spent years fighting alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy. Drax's greatest weakness is his lack of versatility. He relies heavily on physical combat and does not have ranged energy attacks, flight, or advanced technology. Against another close-range fighter, however, Drax's strength and toughness make him extremely difficult to put down.

78. Ronan

Ronan the Accuser is an exceptionally powerful Kree warrior who combines his natural physical abilities with centuries of combat experience. He is incredibly strong and durable and can fight opponents who would overwhelm normal soldiers.

His Universal Weapon gives him another major advantage, allowing him to channel energy and deliver devastating attacks. Ronan was powerful enough to stand against the Guardians of the Galaxy before obtaining the Power Stone, although the Stone itself would put him on an entirely different level. Without permanently counting that temporary upgrade, Ronan still ranks comfortably among the MCU's stronger warriors.

77. Nebula

Nebula is a highly trained assassin and one of the most dangerous members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Her cybernetic enhancements give her increased strength, durability, reflexes, and the ability to survive injuries that would kill an ordinary person.

She is also an exceptional fighter with years of experience under Thanos and the Black Order. Nebula's cybernetics allow her to keep fighting after taking enormous amounts of damage, making her extremely difficult to defeat. She does not have the raw power of some of her teammates, but her skill and resilience make her a serious threat.

76. Gamora

Gamora is one of the greatest assassins in the galaxy and was personally trained by Thanos. Her physical abilities are far beyond those of a normal human, giving her exceptional strength, speed, agility, and durability.

Her greatest advantage is her combat skill. Gamora is highly proficient with swords, firearms, and close-range combat and has defeated numerous powerful opponents throughout her life. She lacks the overwhelming abilities of the MCU's strongest characters, but when it comes to pure combat ability, she belongs much higher than most conventional superhumans.

75. Star-Lord

Peter Quill may not be the strongest member of the Guardians, but his combination of combat experience, weapons, and intelligence makes him a dangerous opponent. He is an excellent marksman and fighter who has spent years battling aliens, mercenaries, and some of the galaxy's most dangerous criminals.

His jet boots, blasters, and other technology give him plenty of options at different ranges. Quill also briefly gained Celestial abilities through his connection to Ego, but this ranking does not count that temporary power boost. Without it, Star-Lord is still a highly capable fighter, but he is much closer to the middle of the MCU's power scale.

74. Valkyrie

Valkyrie is one of Asgard's greatest warriors and has centuries of experience fighting powerful enemies. Her enhanced strength, speed, durability, and agility allow her to battle creatures far stronger than ordinary humans.

She is also an exceptional swordswoman and is capable of fighting alongside Thor against extremely powerful enemies. Her connection to Pegasus gives her another advantage in battle, allowing her to fight effectively from the air. Valkyrie does not have Thor's raw power or lightning abilities, but she is one of the MCU's most accomplished warriors.

73. Groot

Groot's enormous physical strength and durability make him one of the Guardians' most reliable heavy hitters. His body can withstand tremendous punishment, while his branches can stretch, grab enemies, create shields, and attack from multiple directions.

Groot also has remarkable regenerative abilities and can continue fighting after suffering severe damage. His ability to grow and manipulate his body gives him far more versatility than a simple powerhouse. He lacks the overwhelming strength of characters like Hulk or Thor, but Groot is still extremely difficult to kill or contain.

72. Yondu

Yondu may not look physically imposing, but his Yaka arrow makes him one of the most dangerous ranged fighters on this list. He can control the arrow with his whistle and maneuver it at incredible speeds, allowing it to rapidly cut through multiple enemies.

He is also an experienced Ravager leader and a skilled fighter even without his signature weapon. The arrow's precision and speed give Yondu an enormous advantage against opponents who are not durable enough to withstand it. 71. Monica Rambeau

Monica Rambeau gains extraordinary energy-based abilities after being exposed to the energy surrounding the Hex. She can perceive and manipulate different forms of electromagnetic energy and can transform her body into an energy-based state.

This allows Monica to absorb or pass through certain types of energy and makes her extremely difficult to hurt with conventional attacks. She can also fly and unleash powerful energy attacks. Monica's abilities are still developing, but her versatility and resistance to energy attacks give her a major advantage over most physical fighters.

70. Sersi

Sersi is one of the Eternals' most versatile members because of her ability to manipulate matter. She can transform objects and living material into completely different substances, making her powers extremely useful in both combat and everyday situations.

Her Eternal physiology also gives her enhanced strength, durability, speed, and longevity. Sersi's biggest limitation is that she is not nearly as physically powerful as some of the other Eternals. However, her ability to alter matter gives her a unique advantage that can potentially bypass the defenses of stronger opponents.

69. Moon Knight

Marc Spector is an exceptionally skilled hand-to-hand fighter with years of experience as a mercenary. His connection to Khonshu also gives him supernatural abilities and allows him to operate as Moon Knight.

66. Spider-Man [Tom Holland]

Peter Parker's superhuman abilities make him one of the most physically gifted heroes on Earth. His strength, speed, agility, reflexes, wall-crawling, and spider-sense allow him to fight enemies much stronger than himself.

His greatest advantage is the combination of those powers with his intelligence. Peter can improvise during fights and use his environment to his advantage, while his web shooters give him excellent mobility and crowd control. He has repeatedly demonstrated that he can overpower much larger opponents, making him one of the strongest heroes in this part of the ranking.

65. Quicksilver

Pietro Maximoff possesses one of the most powerful abilities in the MCU, allowing him to move at speeds that make normal people appear almost completely stationary. His speed lets him cross battlefields in moments, rescue people before they can react, and attack enemies before they understand what is happening.

His physical strength and durability are enhanced as well, allowing him to survive the forces involved in moving at such incredible speeds. His biggest weakness is his durability compared with the MCU's heavier hitters. Still, if an opponent cannot react to him, Quicksilver can be extremely difficult to defeat.

64. X-23

Laura Kinney possesses many of the same abilities that make Wolverine so dangerous. Her mutant healing factor allows her to recover from severe injuries, while her enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, and senses make her an exceptional fighter.

Her claws give her an especially dangerous offensive weapon, capable of cutting through opponents who would be difficult for normal weapons to hurt. Laura is also highly trained in combat and has been fighting since she was young. She does not have the experience or sheer resilience of Wolverine, but she is still an extremely dangerous mutant.

63. Deadpool

Wade Wilson's greatest advantage is his extraordinary healing factor. He can recover from wounds that would kill almost anyone else and continue fighting even after suffering devastating injuries.

Deadpool is also an expert swordsman and marksman who uses firearms, blades, explosives, and improvisation to overwhelm his enemies. His unpredictable fighting style makes him particularly difficult to counter. His physical strength is not remotely on the level of Hulk or Thor, but his regeneration means that defeating him permanently is a much harder task than simply overpowering him.

62. Wolverine

Logan is one of the most durable and dangerous mutants in the MCU. His accelerated healing allows him to recover from devastating injuries, while his enhanced strength, senses, reflexes, and endurance make him a formidable physical fighter.

His adamantium skeleton and claws make him even more dangerous. The claws can cut through extremely durable materials and give Wolverine a weapon that can seriously injure opponents far stronger than himself. 61. MODOK

MODOK is the result of AIM's experiments transforming George Tarleton into a massive genetically altered superhuman. His enormous head houses a powerful intellect, while his advanced life-support system and technology allow him to operate far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human.

His hovering chair gives him mobility and weapons that can be used from a distance. MODOK is not physically impressive compared with the superhumans above him, but his intelligence, technology, and ability to attack from range make him a legitimate threat. His unusual physiology also makes him much harder to deal with than a conventional human enemy.

60. Corvus Glaive

Corvus Glaive is one of Thanos' most dangerous servants and a member of the Black Order. His enhanced strength, speed, agility, and durability make him a serious threat even against experienced superhuman fighters.

His glaive is his biggest advantage. The weapon is incredibly sharp and durable, allowing him to cut through powerful materials and opponents. Corvus is also an experienced assassin who fights with precision rather than simply relying on brute force. His greatest advantage is his connection to water. Namor becomes even more powerful when hydrated and can move through the water at extraordinary speeds. He is also an experienced warrior who has spent centuries fighting. On land he is still extremely dangerous, but his power becomes even more impressive in the ocean.

57. Druig

Druig possesses one of the most dangerous abilities among the Eternals. He can control the minds of other beings, potentially taking control of large groups of people simultaneously.

His powers are particularly dangerous because physical strength does not necessarily protect someone from his abilities. Druig can manipulate enemies without needing to overpower them directly. He also possesses the enhanced strength, speed, durability, and longevity shared by the Eternals. His limited combat feats keep him below the strongest members of the group, but his mind control gives him enormous potential.

56. Sylvie

Sylvie is a powerful variant of Loki who combines Asgardian physical abilities with strong magical talents. She possesses enhanced strength, durability, agility, and longevity, while her magic allows her to manipulate and enchant other beings.

Her ability to enchant powerful creatures is especially impressive and has allowed her to influence beings far larger and stronger than herself. Sylvie is also an experienced fighter who has survived years of pursuit by the TVA. She is not quite on Loki's level, but her combination of magic and physical abilities makes her extremely dangerous.

55. Thena

Thena is one of the Eternals' greatest warriors and possesses incredible skill with cosmic energy weapons. She can create swords, spears, and other weapons from cosmic energy almost instantly.

She also has the enhanced physical abilities shared by the Eternals, giving her tremendous strength, speed, durability, and longevity. Thena's thousands of years of combat experience make her particularly dangerous in a fight. She is one of the best pure warriors among the Eternals, although she lacks the overwhelming physical strength of characters such as Gilgamesh.

54. Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh is arguably the strongest pure physical fighter among the Eternals. His cosmic energy manifests through his fists, allowing him to deliver enormously powerful punches while his Eternal physiology gives him tremendous strength and durability.

He was strong enough to fight creatures such as the Deviants directly and protect his teammates in close combat. Gilgamesh's greatest weakness is his limited range compared with some other Eternals. When the fight becomes physical, however, very few characters in this part of the ranking can match his strength.

53. She-Hulk

Jennifer Walters gains Hulk-like abilities after Bruce Banner's blood enters her system. She possesses tremendous strength, enhanced durability, speed, jumping ability, and a powerful healing factor.

Unlike Bruce, Jennifer retains much more control over her transformation and can continue functioning normally while using her powers. She is also an accomplished lawyer with a sharp mind outside of combat. She has not demonstrated the same level of raw power as the strongest versions of Hulk, but her combination of strength, intelligence, and control makes her a formidable superhero.

52. Sandman

Flint Marko's powers allow him to transform his body into living sand and manipulate his size and shape. This makes conventional physical attacks extremely ineffective against him, since his body can disperse and reform after being struck.

Sandman can also create enormous fists and other massive structures from his body, giving him tremendous offensive power. His ability to grow to gigantic sizes makes him particularly dangerous against groups of opponents. He can be weakened or restrained through specific environmental conditions, but under the right circumstances, Sandman is one of the most difficult physical opponents to defeat.

51. Electro

Max Dillon becomes one of the MCU's most dangerous energy-based villains after his transformation. He can generate and manipulate enormous amounts of electricity, fire powerful energy attacks, and use electrical systems to increase his power.

Electro can also attack from a distance, making him much more difficult to fight than a conventional superhuman. His energy form provides additional protection against ordinary physical attacks. His biggest weakness is that his power can depend on the energy available around him, but when fully charged, he is capable of overwhelming extremely powerful opponents.

50. Abomination

Emil Blonsky's transformation into Abomination gives him enormous increases in strength, durability, and physical power. His muscular body allows him to overpower ordinary soldiers and fight other Hulk-level opponents.

Unlike the Hulk, Blonsky is also a highly trained soldier and experienced hand-to-hand combatant. He can combine his military fighting skills with his superhuman strength, making him more technically skilled than many pure powerhouses. He has improved his control over his transformation as well, although he still lacks Hulk's enormous potential for escalating strength.

49. Cull Obsidian

Cull Obsidian is one of Thanos' most powerful enforcers. His enormous size gives him tremendous strength and durability, allowing him to overpower groups of opponents and survive attacks from some of Earth's strongest heroes.

The Dweller in Darkness is an ancient interdimensional creature capable of feeding on the souls of living beings. It possesses enormous physical strength, durability, and tentacles that allow it to attack multiple opponents at once.

Its ability to absorb life energy makes it especially dangerous, while its gigantic body allows it to overwhelm ordinary fighters almost instantly. The creature ultimately requires the combined efforts of the heroes and the Great Protector to defeat. 46. Red Hulk

The Hulkbuster is one of Tony Stark’s most powerful pieces of armor, specifically designed to take on the Hulk. The armor was able to survive a prolonged fight with the Hulk and keep coming back after taking massive punishment.

The Hulkbuster does not have the versatility of some of the characters above it, but its raw physical power and specialized weaponry make it one of the strongest suits in the MCU. It belongs comfortably in this part of the ranking.

44. Ant-Man

Ant-Man’s biggest advantage is his ability to manipulate his size using Pym Particles. Scott Lang can shrink down to microscopic levels, become extremely difficult to hit, and use his increased strength at a smaller size to deliver surprisingly powerful attacks. He can also grow into Giant-Man, giving himself tremendous physical strength and the ability to fight much larger opponents.

43. Jane Foster

Kurse is one of the most physically powerful enemies Thor has faced. After being transformed by the cursed stone, Algrim became dramatically stronger and more durable, allowing him to overpower Thor in direct combat. He could take enormous amounts of punishment and continue fighting without slowing down.

Kurse’s greatest advantage is his overwhelming physical strength. He does not have the versatility of many characters above him, but when it comes to close-range combat, very few characters in this part of the ranking can match his raw power.

41. Destroyer

The Destroyer is an enchanted Asgardian construct created to be an almost unstoppable weapon. It possesses incredible strength and durability, allowing it to overpower ordinary Asgardians with ease. Its most dangerous weapon is its energy beam, which can devastate anything caught directly in its path.

Thor eventually defeated the Destroyer, but that fight showed just how dangerous the construct was. It can withstand tremendous punishment while continuing to attack, making it one of the strongest purely physical weapons in the MCU.

40. Shang-Chi

Shang-Chi became significantly more powerful after gaining control of the Ten Rings. In addition to being one of the MCU’s best martial artists, he can use the Rings to enhance his strength, durability, mobility, and attacks. He can also manipulate their energy and use them offensively from a distance.

His battle against Wenwu demonstrated how dangerous he can become when he fully embraces the power of the Rings. Shang-Chi was also able to play a major role in defeating the Dweller in Darkness, proving that he can operate on a much higher level than his original street-level abilities suggested.

39. Makkari

Makkari is one of the fastest characters in the entire MCU. Her Eternal abilities allow her to move at incredible speeds, running across water, scaling surfaces, and crossing huge distances almost instantly. Her speed also gives her tremendous offensive power because she can build up enormous momentum before striking an opponent.

Makkari’s fight with Ikaris showed exactly how dangerous this ability can be. Even someone as powerful as Ikaris struggled to deal with her speed. While she does not have the raw versatility of some characters above her, her speed makes her incredibly difficult to fight.

38. Fenrir

Fenrir is an enormous Asgardian wolf with incredible strength, durability, and speed. His gigantic size allows him to overpower most opponents through sheer physical force, and he was strong enough to battle the Hulk during the destruction of Asgard.

Fenrir is not particularly versatile, but he does not need to be. His massive body and overwhelming physical strength make him one of the most dangerous beasts in the MCU. Against opponents who cannot match his size and power, Fenrir would be an extremely difficult creature to stop.

37. Human Torch

Johnny Storm is one of the most powerful members of the Fantastic Four. His abilities allow him to fly at incredible speeds, surround his body in flames, launch powerful fire attacks, and dramatically increase his temperature. When Johnny pushes his powers to their limits, his flames become powerful enough to make him a serious threat even against much stronger opponents.
