Rap music and gaming have crossed paths more times than its worth counting, these crossovers usually manifest themselves in the form of a game's soundtrack or even rappers (and musicians of all genres) being used to promote games. If you're even slightly in tune with rap and hip-hop culture you've probably heard of an artist named Logic.

Logic has expressed his interest in gaming during many interviews and radio appearances, he can also be seen wearing apparel from a popular gaming organisation know as FaZe in various music videos. It can safely be said that celebrities of all kinds can be known to promote products or sometimes entire industries they have no interest in for a large sum of money. Anyone who follows Logic will agree that he's just as passionate about gaming as any gamer or developer, the guy has a full PS4 setup on his tour bus so that kinda gives you a clue of how serious he is. As you can see in the video (right/above on mobile), Logic shows nothing but pure excitement and raw emotion when it comes to his experience with gaming.

The way Logic is bringing the worlds of gaming and rap together may not be how you think. Many other celebrities have released crappy apps with their face or gone as far as having their own console games, however Logic has found his own lane by creating a YouTube channel focused on gaming. A rapper having a gaming YouTube channel may sound a bit out out there but the reality is Logic's channel works incredibly well, having a vast amount of followers across all social media platforms gave the channel a head start when it came to gaining subscribers and viewers. One of the many reasons his channel is so successful is that its just as much a fan service as it is for his own enjoyment, Logic even states in his first video, "Watch me play video games, like I'm your homie and we're sitting on the couch." In a video titled "Tour Bus THUNDERSTORM GAMEPLAY + Portable Set Up," you see Logic on his tour bus speaking on the hardships of touring as an artist, an issue that is not often brought to light as its a subject that is often glamorised. This gives fans new and old the opportunity to look at his life in a different way than just through his music.

The channel itself (click here) currently boasts over a million subscribers and will no doubt continue to grow. Check out a few of Logic's videos below:

Logic's wife (Jessica Andrea) also has a Vlogging YouTube channel with over 500,000 subscribers which naturally features the rapper quite regularly, check it out HERE.
