Recently, the Kansas City team made a big splash in the sports world by making some major changes. They have been working hard to build an organization that can compete at a high level for years to come and their efforts are beginning to pay off.

The first move they made was hiring former Chiefs quarterback coach Andy Reid as head coach. Reid is known for his innovative offensive schemes and has had success with teams like Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers in the past. With him leading this team there is no telling what he will be able to accomplish with such great talent already on board.

Next up was signing free agent quarterback Alex Smith from San Francisco 49ers who brings experience from one of the best offenses in football last season along with leadership qualities that should help shape this young roster into something special over time under Coach Reid’s guidance.. The addition of veteran wide receiver Donnie Avery also helps add depth at this position which has been lacking since Dwayne Bowe left after 2012 season . This could prove vital if they want any chance of competing against top tier opponents next year or beyond .

Lastly , Kansas City went out on a limb when drafting Eric Fisher number 1 overall pick out of Central Michigan University as their franchise tackle moving forward . He comes into camp expected make immediate impact protecting whoever lines up behind center whether it's Smith or someone else down road .. All these moves combined create buzz around town about how good things could be future if all pieces fall place correctly ... It remains seen how well new staff can take advantage all tools available them but one thing certain : Kansas City isn't going sit back idly wait see what happens - instead taking initiative try turn ship around quickly!

The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the most storied and beloved teams in the National Football League. Founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans, they moved to Kansas City in 1963 and became known as the Chiefs. Since then, they have become a major force on both sides of the ball with numerous Super Bowl appearances over their history.

Led by legendary head coach Hank Stram, who coached from 1960-1974, The Chiefs won three AFL Championships during his tenure and were crowned World Champions after winning Super Bowl IV against Minnesota Vikings 23–7. This was only their second season since moving to KC from Dallas! Other notable coaches include Marty Schottenheimer (1989-1998), Dick Vermeil (2001-2005) , Herm Edwards (2006 - 2008)and current head coach Andy Reid who is entering his 8th season with team this year .

In addition to its success on field ,the organization has also been very successful off it too . Over last decade or so ,they have made several significant investments into community initiatives such as “Hunt Family Foundation” which helps provide food for those less fortunate & “KC Cares” which offers free health care services for low income families throughout city . They also host annual events like Red Friday where fans can show support local troops overseas through donations & volunteer opportunities at Arrowhead Stadium home games each fall/winter months!

The Kansas City Chiefs are an iconic franchise that continues to impact not just football but entire region around them – whether it be through wins championships or giving back communities neediest citizens alike!
