The Void Priest
The mob roared, a hundred mouths all giving rise to a single cry as they raised their torches high, marching upon the hill. There were no words to that roar, and no individual voices; they were all subsumed into the single, overwhelming whole. Men and women both had become part of one beast, and that beast surged forward in search of blood. When they crested the hilltop, they found the woman they sought standing in the center of the open field, her eyes closed, and her lips moving silently in the starlight.

The Death Wyrm of Aizendorf
“Our party was hunting in the swamp, chasing a great green elk. The beast had enough meat on it to feed our family for a week or more, and we could sell its verdant pelt for a good bag of jink, but it was a fierce creature with sharp antlers spreading out 3 metres wide and eyes that glowed green. We chased it into a bog and it dived under the water to hide. We had spears and an Ancient weapon that shot bolts of fire, but we knew it could easily sneak up on us under the murky waters of the bog. The whole party spread out and waded forward carefully, aiming toward the spot we saw it dive.

The Beer Brewing Witch
The cauldron bubbled over a low flame fed by smith coals, animal bones, and hickory sticks. Elora stirred it with a clean birch staff, muttering a mantra under her breath as she kept a slow and steady pace. A cloth covered the lower half of her face, and steam rose from the noxious brew.

Betting tips for Bears vs. Jaguars: Two offensive props stand out
Bears vs. Jaguars: NFL London Game Preview (2024) The Chicago Bears (3-2) are on a three-game winning streak as they head to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-4) in the 2024 NFL London Games. The game, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, promises an exciting matchup featuring two teams with contrasting forms so far this season. Bears Riding High, Jaguars Struggling The Bears come into this game with momentum, having won three straight games after a slow start to the season. Quarterback Caleb Williams has been steadily improving, with notable performances in recent weeks, including two 300-plus yard games in his last three outings. His development, particularly in handling the blitz and executing deep throws, has been a key factor in Chicago’s resurgence. In contrast, the Jaguars have been underwhelming through the first five weeks of the season. Despite a Week 5 win over the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville has struggled to find consistency on offense. With a record of 1-4, the Jaguars will need to find a way to challenge Chicago’s strong defense if they want to avoid dropping further down in the standings. Betting Lines and Odds The Bears opened as 2-point favorites, though the line has shifted to Chicago -1 as the game day approaches. The total for the game is set at 44.5 points, with ESPN's Football Power Index giving the Bears a 60.3% chance to win outright. Chicago is expected to cover the spread, further indicating their strong position heading into this international matchup. Key Betting Trends Chicago Bears Trends: The Bears have covered the spread in five straight games as favorites, including a perfect 3-0 ATS record this season. Historically, the team has struggled when the line is within the +3 to -3 range, with a 2-10-1 ATS record under head coach Matt Eberflus in such scenarios. Jacksonville Jaguars Trends: The Jaguars have struggled against the spread (3-8 in their last 11 games) and are 0-2 ATS in their last two home games. London Games Trends: Recent trends favor the under in games played in London, with five straight London games hitting the under, including a perfect 4-0 since the start of the 2023 season. Bears Defense vs. Jaguars Offense A major storyline heading into this game is the contrast between the Bears’ stout defense and the Jaguars’ sputtering offense. Chicago’s defense ranks seventh in total yards allowed and is tied for fifth in points allowed per game. This unit will look to take advantage of a Jacksonville offense that has struggled to establish any rhythm so far this year. Meanwhile, DJ Moore and the Bears' passing game will be looking to exploit a Jaguars secondary that has given up over 100 yards to four different wide receivers this season. Moore, in particular, could be in for a big day against a defense that has been vulnerable to big plays. Conclusion With the Bears looking to continue their strong play and the Jaguars searching for consistency, this London matchup offers an intriguing contrast. Chicago's defense will be a tough test for a Jacksonville offense that has yet to hit its stride, and Caleb Williams’ continued development will be key in leading the Bears to another win. As the game approaches, the Bears are favored to cover the spread, and betting trends suggest that the under is the more likely outcome for this game. Whether Jacksonville can find a way to spark their offense or if Chicago's defense will prove too much remains to be seen.
