Welcome to Summoners War – a mystical world where you will become a talented summoner, collecting and training powerful monsters to fight and explore the mysteries.

Are you new to Summoners War? Don’t worry! This Series Summoners War Guide Articles will help you step by step into this fascinating world, from the basics to advanced strategies.

Follow our series of guides. Let’s get started…

1. Terminology you need to know

FOOD: Monsters used as materials to upgrade/evolve other monsters.

L/D: Light/Dark monsters, usually rarer than Fire/Water/Wind monsters.

Awakening: You can farm awakening materials in the Magic Hall and the elemental halls. Your monster will have a new

name (e.g. Dark Inugami -> Kro) and become stronger.

NAT: The base rarity of a monster (Veromos is NAT5, Verdehile is NAT4)

2A/Second Awakening: Some nat2/3 monsters can be awakened an additional time.

ToA: Trial of Ascension

Summoner’s Path: The book in the upper left corner of the screen, very important as it guides you and gives you many rewards.

That’s all I can remember for now. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments, XGame will answer and add to the article.

2. A few words about how to play the game (IMPORTANT YOU SHOULD READ CAREFULLY)

One of the reasons I decided to write this series is because many newbies have misunderstandings about the monsters in the game. Many of you, when summoning a NAT5 (congratulations!), will have questions like “I’m new to the game, is this monster strong?”, “Can I use this monster?”.

I can answer all of your questions like this: This monster is strong, but you should keep it in storage for now and use it later. Most of the NAT4/5 monsters in the game are used for PvP (player vs. player) battles. However, to become strong enough to compete with other players, you need a team to farm materials.

On the other hand, the strong monsters for PvE (player vs. environment) farming are mostly monsters that you can completely farm for, including many NAT2/3 monsters. Therefore, as long as you know how to manage your resources, you can still play the game well even if you don’t summon any good NAT5s. In fact, building NAT5s too early can actually slow down your game progress (I will explain this in more detail later).

Closing the issue:

Don’t focus too much on summoning NAT5s: While NAT5s are powerful, they are not necessary for success in the game. There are many strong NAT2/3 monsters that can be used for both PvE and PvP.

Focus on building a strong team for farming: This is the most important thing you can do to progress in the game. A strong farming team will allow you to quickly acquire the materials you need to level up your monsters, rune them, and improve your overall team strength.

Don’t be afraid to experiment: There are many different ways to play Summoners War. Don’t be afraid to try different strategies and team compositions to find what works best for you.

3. Lapis

The first thing you should do when playing the game is to complete the Normal Scenario (the maps Garen Forest, Siz Island, Faimon Volcano, etc.) and follow the Beginner objectives in the Summoner’s Path. This is not difficult. Once you pass the Siz Island stage, the game will give you the Water Magic Swordman/Lapis. Equip her with the Fatal/Blade set that you get for free, and she will carry you through the entire map.

Her main role is to farm experience. When you need to level up some of your monsters, you can take her along with Lapis to farm Faimon Volcano 1 Hell (you can read more about this in the Summoner’s Path).

Farming in Faimon 1 Hell has many advantages: it’s fast because your Lapis will only have to fight fire monsters, it drops Inugami which you will need later on, and it drops Steel to craft important buildings.

Lapis: can also be used in ToA, Labyrinth, Fire Rift, etc.

Some additional tips:

Focus on your first 6-star monster: This will be your main farmer and will help you progress through the game faster. Lapis is a great choice for your first 6-star.

Don’t neglect your runes: Runes are essential for improving your monsters’ stats and making them stronger. Focus on farming good runes for your Lapis and other core monsters.

Join a guild: Joining a guild can be a great way to get help and advice from other players. You can also participate in guild wars and earn rewards. (I will write this part separately below)

4. Arena

Your priority here is not to climb the ranks, but to use your wings to farm Honor Points. You should set your defense to a weak monster so that others can defeat you. This will keep your rank low, you will not face difficult opponents, and you will not waste your wings (losing does not give you Honor Points).

You can use Honor Points to buy devilmon, then buy Light/Dark pieces, and if you have any left over, buy Legendary Runes.

Additional tips for old player:

Focus on farming Swift runes: Swift runes are essential for PvP battles, so you should focus on farming them in the Arena.

5. Guild

You should join a guild as soon as possible. Go to Community > Guild and search for guilds with the following criteria: Level 30, Activity points from 8000 and above, Labyrinth from A and above.

Every day, you need to do 3 Guild Battle matches and 5 Labyrinth battles (at first, you can play Normal, if you find it too difficult, you can play Easy). You can use the guild points to buy from the guild shop, buy rainbowmon first every week, then buy Ifrit pieces, and the rest buy universal pieces.

Additional tips:

Participate in guild wars: This is a great way to earn guild points and rewards.

Donate to the guild: This will help your guild level up and unlock new features.

Communicate with your guildmates: This is a great way to get help and advice from other players.

6. A Few More Important Tips

Never use NAT4/NAT3LD as food.

Keep the following nat3s in storage: Inugami, Werewolf, Griffon, Penguin Knight, Magical Archer, Beast Hunter, Drunken Master, and those used for fusion (go to your inventory and look for monsters with a yellow circle in the lower left corner).

Unlock all slots in the Magic Shop, buy silver monsters and unknown scrolls to use as food.

Use crystals to buy the pink giant in the Building, then only use it to refill energy. Do not use it to summon monsters.

Conclude

For the first 1 or 2 days, just play the game as you like, explore all kinds of things (as long as you remember the tips I wrote above). When you’re bored and want to progress, I’ll switch to “Summoners War Guides
