It was only a matter of time before the Pokemon GO augmented reality craze began to bleed into other games. But before there was Pokemon GO, there was a Pokemon mod, and in the most unlikely of places - a little shoot 'em up called Postal 2.

Postal 2 is not known as a family friendly game, and has seen its fair share of controversy, so it's somewhat interesting to see it modded with a game that's friendly fun for all. The mod has been out for over a year, and can be downloaded on Steam. It has its own special twist on throwing Pokeballs, as seen in the video below.

As seen in the video, the Pokeballs you throw in Postal 2 do not catch or release Pokemon. Instead, they release random animals, from cows to elephants, to run rampant in the streets. Chaos ensues, and the fun begins.

What unlikely games would like to see get the Pokemon treatment? Maybe Left4Dead with Pokemon who have turned? A Pokeball launcher in Call of Duty? Or maybe Five Nights at Freddy's becomes replaced with an all Pokemon cast? Golden Pikachu may not be bad.
