'Star Fox: Guard' - a New Way to Tower Defense
If you played Nintendo games in the 1990s, you know who Fox McCloud is. He's the ringleader in a pretty well known game called 'Star Fox', a shoot-em-up game where you fly around in a pretty cool spaceship and save the galaxy from the evil Andross. A new 'Star Fox' game is set to drop later this month, titled 'Star Fox Zero', and everyone is pretty amped up about it. But along with Zero, there's another 'Star Fox' title that you need to look into, especially if you dig tower defense games.

Will 'Annihilation' Work as a Movie?
Jeff VanderMeer has a way with words. He has a way of painting a picture in your mind that's vivid and bright, even of the most mundane objects and tasks. His novel, 'Annihilation' is a perfect example of his ability to do this. But now the picture that has been painted into the minds of many may be available to watch on the big screen in 2017.

The "Mini Nes" Makes It Easy to Introduce Your Kids to Retro Gaming
I've tried introducing my own kids to retro gaming, with only a shred of success. If I can get them interested in checking out a title, there's usually some extraneous problem like the cartridge not reading, or not being able to find the game I was talking about in the first place. There are always emulators, or downloading certain games on the WiiU, but it's not the same as actually having that controller in your hands.

Celebrate 'Pokemon Go' with This Awesome Metal 'Pokemon' Theme Song Cover
There is a Pokemon craze going on at the moment, all powered by the newly released Pokemon GO. However, back in the 90s there was another Pokemon craze. There were video games, plushies, backpacks, stickers, clothes, and of course the anime/cartoon. If you were a kid growing up in the 90s, not only did you know all of the names of the original Pokemon, you also knew all the words to the cartoon's theme song.
