Hello everyone, today I’m gonna talking to you guys about the new Spring into Spring event for Pokémon Go as well as some helpful tips for you to help maximize your rewards for this event.

So spring is here and that means a lot of spring Pokémon are gonna be appearing more in the wild, but it also means that it’s the time of the year to be hatching a lot of eggs. The event starts on April 9, 2020 at 8 AM local time and ends April 16, 2020 at 10pm local time.

As part of the event egg or spring themed Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild such as: Exeggcute, marill, flower crown eevee, torchic, mareep, chansey, and pikachu and buneary wearing flower crowns. If your lucky you may encounter one or all of these Pokémon in their shiny forms. Yes that is correct, exeggcute and marill will be making their shiny debut during this event.

Now for the eggs, there will be special 2 km eggs that you can receive from gifts from your friends which may contain the following Pokémon: tyrouge, chingling, happiny, munchlax, riolu, and pichu and togepi wearing flower crowns. If your lucky you may be able to hatch a shiny happiny, riolu, or flower crown pichu or togepi.

Now for the in-game bonuses. During this event lucky eggs will last for up to 1 hour when activated, eggs will hatch in half the distance, and you will receive double hatch candy from eggs hatched during this event. There will also be some Togepi themed avatar items in the in-game shop that you can purchase for your appreciation for the spike ball Pokémon. Who knows it might just bring you some good luck for this event.

There will also be special event Field Research tasks that you can complete during this event to gain some rare encounters. Some of the Pokémon you may encounter from the research tasks are: flower crown eevee, Bayleef, azumarill, alolan exeggutor, chansey, and Audino. If your lucky you may encounter some of these Pokémon in their shiny forms. Keep in mind all of these research tasks will require you to hatch a certain number of eggs to complete.

That’s what’s going on for this event guys, now for some helpful tips for you to help maximize your rewards for this event. So if your like me and is hoarding stardust, this event will be a great time to load up on it or even replenish it if you have been spending at lot of it for pvp. I know I have. With eggs hatching at half the distance you’re going to be hatching eggs pretty quickly especially the special event themed ones. If you really want to try and grind for dust, then try loading up on a bunch of 10 km eggs. Just be sure that before you do hatch those eggs that you have a star piece activated before to get 50% more stardust when those eggs hatch.

Another great way to build up on stardust for this event will be through a research task or Pokémon that you may encounter during this event. Rare it may be, but the rewards will be great. That Pokémon is Audino. Audino is a very rare Pokémon to come across as they do not appear very often, much like chimecho. Also like chimecho they also give more stardust when caught. If you manage to encounter this Pokémon in the wild or through research, you will be able to get 2,000 stardust from that catch per Audino you catch. The research task that you will be looking for in order to encounter this Pokémon will be to ‘Hatch 5 Eggs’. Now the best way to maximize on a Pokémon like this is to save it when the time is right to gather a bunch of stardust. That time would be during your 7-day streak catch. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic going on there are some in game bonuses happening for people to give them some more rewards when they aren’t able to go out and grind as often as before. One of which is increasing the amount of stardust you earn from your first catch of the day by 3 times. So if you are lucky enough to encounter an Audino in the wild, or even get the research task make sure that when you catch it you first have a star piece on and it’s your first catch of the day during your 7-day streak. If you manage to do these steps, you will get over 20,000 stardust from catching it during this time.

This is also a time to be building up candies for certain Pokémon that you may want to evolve or power up but couldn’t because you lacked the candies. The best way for you to get the candies for the certain Pokémon that you may want to evolve will be for you to collect eggs of the same kind that contain the Pokémon that you want to collect candies for. If your lucky enough to get the Pokémon that you want out of those eggs then you will build up a lot of candy during this event if you manage to hatch even just a few of them during this event.

Now I know what you may also be thinking. We’re in the middle of a quarantine or the weather is bad to be going outside in right now and I won’t be able to hatch any eggs during this event. Well during this quarantine you can be outside for exercise or getting some fresh air, just not being out there for too long. There is a way around this handicap if you aren’t able to go outside and get those kilometers. Adventure sync is a great way for you to be tracking your in game movement, so all you’ll need is that, some good running shoes, a good running surface, and your game open in the background. If you end up running in place with your phone in your pocket with adventure sync on, the game will track your movement because your phone will still be moving around, just in one place. So if you do that for a good amount of time you should be able to rack up a few kilometers from just running in place like that.

That’s all I have for you guys. I’ll be doing another article soon for the marill encounter event that will be happening through go battle league, so be sure to keep an eye out for that. Until then, be safe, have fun, wash your hands frequently, and go catch em all guys.
