The CFP 2017-2018 Rose Bowl; only Oklahoma-Georgia matchup to date

CUSA: Florida Atlantic 21 @ Tulsa 34 from the New Orleans Bowl (my inner #UniWatch wishes Tulsa had a Gold Jersey so I could've done All-Blue versus All-Gold. In any case Tulsa's Conference Title should get them into the BCS/CFP Rankings helping us out.) (nevermind, however...)

Mountain West: Utah State 47 @ #3 Fresno State 44 F/OT @ Fresno State (So it doesn't particularly matter to the Dynasty Mode, but as a Green Bay Packer Backer: Jordan Love's Performance in the OT Upset Victory was mixed. 19-42 for 374 Yds, 5 TDs, 3 INTs, Long of 83, 45%; 4 Rush for 3 Yds, Long of 5. Also in the box score I noticed Fresno State didn't even have their last names as I guess the roster was incomplete when I downloaded it. If they had made it to either Playoff I guess I could've gone with QB #6, etc. pointing out how the NCAA Series was played before 'Roster Share' without extensive tinkering or using the auto-generate fake names feature. I usually edited OU's Key Players and let Auto-Name take it from there back in the day.) (Utah State cracks the Final BCS/CFP Rankings at #23.)

Pac-12: #12 Utah 30 @ #11 Oregon 51 from San Francisco.

ACC: #16 Clemson 45 @ #2 Virgina Tech 42 from Charlotte (normally I don't bother checking the injury info of other games because of the sheer scope of this, but Trevor Lawrence was unavailable and Chase Brice led them to the upset victory. Possibly the reason they lost 2 November Games.)

Big Ten: #13 Michigan State 42 @ #5 Notre Dame 35 from Indianapolis (guess Conference Karma has 'probably' knocked Notre Dame out.)

MAC: #23 Toledo 17 @ #4 Ohio 45 from Detroit (glad we had one of the Group of 5 Survive so we can have that dynamic in the 8 Team Playoff, but I think I'm going to have to legislate what the CFP would actually do and pass over them in the 4 Team Playoff. Be hilarious if they get to host Texas in the 8 Team Playoff.)

SEC: #7 Georgia 14 @ #1 Oklahoma 38 from Nashville:

So it SNOWED in Nashville, haha. On one hand that sounds like a good reason why the SEC doesn't pick this when they have Atlanta readily available, yet as a Conference priding itself on the Running Game and Defense it was perfect. So checking the Nashville Climate, apparently it's rare to get more an inch of snow per December, yet our Title Game was played in an NCAA Football 14 Blizzard, haha. Oddly I suppose there's a chance 2 Loss Georgia could only drop to #8 and be our 1st Round Opponent, *Grimacing Face Emoji*. Then again beating the same opponent in consecutive games would be a unique and difficult challenge.

Georiga may feel like this contest played out very similar to the real game against LSU, yet having the Nashville Snow as kind of an advantage for them. They had a somewhat decent chance of leveling things up in the 2nd Quarter if they'd stopped us on our long 3rd TD Drive. We did actually Punt for what feels like the 1st Time, lol. But I suppose I average about a Punt per week though already.

If you want to get nitpicky the score was really 35-14 as our FG was as Time Expired in a Practice Effort. I get the Unwritten Rule here, but seriously as a point of emphasis when FGs can literally determine Super Bowls and National Titles why not practice a Time-Expiring FG if the situation presents itself. This is an Unwritten Rule that might actually get challenged in the future for the reasons I'm presenting.

If your wondering, yes it was really, really weird seeing the SEC Championship Patch on our Uniforms and I wasn't prepared for it, #UniWatch. But I'm glad the game has these Immersive Touches.

So instead of jumping right into Scoring Plays & Team Stats, we won't leave you in suspense: here's the FOUR Endings we have to do now:

BCS National Championship (As Is) At the Rose Bowl: #1 Oklahoma versus #2 Ohio. Yes the Group of 5 Team breaking the NCAA 14 BCS happened to us, so we'll just have to give them their day in the Sun and go with it. It's nice they have good uniforms though. We'll get to the full BCS Bowl Games later with the Full Normal Dynasty Bowls. As I want to pick my 4 Team CFP & 8 Team CFP New Years Six without knowing what the NCAA 14 BCS Picked.

BCS Alternate National Championship At the Sugar Bowl: #1 Oklahoma versus #3 Nebraska. You know the real BCS never would've put Ohio in, and ever since we saw Nebraska having an unrealistic, good season we've been dying for this. Especially since I couldn't find a slot for the Rivalry in the Regular Season and had to settle for Kansas State. Who at the time hadn't beaten us in real life yet. Time to make it happen, we'll probably do this one 1st as it's kind of the easiest.

4 Team College Football Playoff:

Now you know #2 Ohio never would make the grade in the CFP either, so we're going to have to pull our Commissioner Power here to take the next ranked teams: And thanks to a lot of 2007 like upsets here's the result.

College Football Playoff At the Fiesta Bowl: #1 Oklahoma versus #5 Texas; #7 Arizona, #9 TCU, & #12 Oregon can all feel hard done by here as the Power 5 One Loss Teams pipped by 2 Loss Independent Texas. Arizona only has 1 Ranked Opponent however in #17 Utah, #9 TCU had Wins Against #14 LSU & #5 Texas, but Lost to #18 Iowa State and Scheduled 3 FCS Schools, and lastly #12 Oregon also only has #17 Utah as their sole ranked opponent. So it wouldn't be impossible to see the CFP Committee making this call in real life. Although it'd probably actually be #12 Oregon in these conditions if I were honest and guessing. But the chance to get a Double Dose of Rivalry Wins in the CFP 4 Team is too much to pass up.

College Football Playoff At the Peach Bowl: #3 Nebraska versus #4 Virginia Tech.

As the Superdome hosted the 2020 College Football Playoff National Title Game, the CFP National Title(s) will be played with the Sugar Bowl Branding. Not like I've got YouTube Tech, but still for your immersion's sake.

4 Team CFP New Years Six:

Rose: #6 Michigan State versus #7 Arizona

Cotton: #2 Ohio versus #10 Fresno State

Sugar: #9 TCU versus #13 Georgia

Orange: #8 Clemson versus #11 Notre Dame

Feel like these are pretty true to real life tie-ins and agreements, and I'm starting to realize just how tough this will be for the 8 Team Leftovers.

8 Team Playoff:

I debated what to do with #2 Ohio's Seeding, but eh. Considering I've used my pragmatism to boot them from both the BCS & CFP, I'll just leave their NCAA 14 earned #2 Ranking. So...

(Norman: #1 Oklahoma versus #8 Clemson) vs (Blacksburg: #4 Virginia Tech versus #5 Texas)

(Athens, Ohio: #2 Ohio versus #7 Arizona) vs (Lincoln: #3 Nebraska versus #6 Michigan State)

8 Team Playoff New Years Six:

Rose: #11 Notre Dame versus #12 Oregon

Cotton: #14 LSU versus #10 Fresno State (listed the ranking backwards as any and all of these would have to be obligated to take Fresno rather than excited in real life.)

Sugar: #9 TCU versus #13 Georgia

Orange: #15 Michigan versus #16 Missouri

I guess you all can tell me how wrong I am on these in the Comments Sections, but it's what I'm rolling with, and you're lucky I'm willing to simulate it out the 1st place, haha.

Heisman Results: (1st, 2nd, 3rd: Total)

Winner: Jalen Hurts 739, 46, 0: 2309

2nd: Lamical Perine, HB Florida 22, 349, 264: 1028

3rd: Tru Wilson, HB Michigan 14, 240, 282: 804

4th: J.J. Taylor, HB Arizona 8, 98, 130: 350

5th: Deshawn McClease, HB Virginia Tech 2, 47, 98: 198

If the Maxwell & Walter Camp Finalists are anything to go by these QBS: UNLV, Armani Rogers; Arizona, Khalil Tate; Michigan, Shea Patterson; Georgia, Jake Fromm; and more of the Preseason 6th Round Joe Burrow, LSU than real life #1 Overall Joe Burrow were all in the Top 10 for Heisman Running, but none ever cracked the Top 5 for Display Listing. Making the whole Heisman Race slanted towards Running Backs, oddly.

OU Award Winners:

Jalen Hurts: Heisman, Walter Camp, Maxwell, & OBrien.

248-323, 4220 Yds; 160 Rush, 1160 Yds, 64 Total TD

Kenneth Mann: Bednarik, Nagurski, & Lombardi

40 Tackles, 25 TFL, 2 ATK, 19 Sacks, FF, 2 FR

Other Award Winners:

Walker: Lamical Perine, HB Florida

Biletnikioff: Jerry Jeudy, WR Alabama

(Committee must be high, CeeDee Lamb isn't even a Top 12 Finalist. I get Grant Calcaterra not calling it a Concussion Career in the Virtual World stole a lot of TDs [which now he's back, and in the Transfer Portal], but still.)

Mackey: Josh Pederson, TE Louisiana-Monroe

(so a Louisiana Player won a 2019 Award After all LSU faithful, bwahaha. Calcaterra was robbed in 2nd. Well statistically not really.)

Outland: Andrew Thomas, LT Georgia

Rimington: Jake Hanson, C Oregon

Creed Humphrey came 4th for us.

Best LB: Darrell Taylor, LOLB Tennessee

Kenneth Murray came 3rd. Since in this universe he's only an 89 Overall at the NCAA Level I might be able to convince him to stay for his Senior Season.

Thorpe: John Gregory, CB Ohio

Tre Norwood, Jordan Parker, and Parnell Motley finished 2nd, 5th, and 10th respectively.

Groza: Ricky Aguayo, K Florida State

Gabe Brkic came 2nd. Probably because he's a Redshirt Freshman and Aguayo is a Senior. Aguayo was 20-23, Long of 52, & 33-35 XPs. Gabe was 15-19, Long of 61, & 73-73. So I mean I guess FG% and 5 More FGs for a team that needed him more Aguayo, but really which statline would you rather have as a Kicker?

Guy: Jake Camarda, P Georgia

Best RET: Jerome Buckner, WR Ohio

Surprisingly Kennedy Brooks actually came 3rd with 170 KR Yards & 586 PR Yards despite not having a TD.
