In what was our best all around game since the Kansas State Game, we invaded Faurot Field and pummeled our border rivals to retain rights to the Tiger-Sooner Peace Pipe. It was obvious that Kelly Bryant was playing for a team unworthy of his skills as individually he had a decent game doing everything he could, but our Sooner Defense was flying to ball all over the field. Uncharacteristically for a Rivalry Game, albeit perhaps our lowest ranked rivalry behind Nebraska, Texas, and Stillwater but perhaps ahead of our non-existent rivalry with Arkansas, this game featured no turnovers.
