Horizon Zero Dawn
Horizon Zero Dawn was one of the biggest games to come out in a long time. I wanted to share my honest views of the game. In all honesty, it very quickly became one of my favourites. Quite often I may get bored if a game’s opening hour doesn’t catch and keep my attention, and I’ll stop playing. This wasn’t even close to being the case with Horizon. The beginning of the game puts you straight into Aloy’s shoes as a young girl and you’re introduced to her, her guardian and the people in the ‘tribe’ and you see how they treat her straight away. After a little bit of investigating as child Aloy and the tutorial, you then meet adult Aloy and get properly into the gameplay.
Injustice 2 is a Game for Comic Fans
Injustice 2 is the newly released sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, and honestly it's taken the first game and fixed its problems, and added so much more. It's a refreshing change, and makes the game feel that much better. That's not to say it's without its issues though.
1 Hour Review: The Stanley Parable
Another game that I had gotten from the Steam Sale that had occurred over the winter holidays was The Stanley Parable. I had gone into this game knowing only that it was a bizarre game, with some rather odd things about it, and that there was a fair bit of narration in it. But, the thing that I didn’t know was just how important, or unimportant, that the narration was. This is not a game where you have to look through things, and then read, and then do more things. This is a game that had a full story written out in front of you, but is, to the best comparison that I can think of, a ‘choose your own adventure’ game.

Xbox One, when it first came out a couple of years ago, sparked a revolution in console hardware and gaming. The Xbox One was sold more than 25 millions units worldwide and that number keeps on increasing given this console’s long shelf life. While the Xbox One has been a popular success with gamers and consumers alike, Microsoft has upped their game lately at their recent reveal of the new Xbox One X at the 2017 E3 convention.
Character Reputation in RPGs: The Small Legend
It's that time again. You're all sitting around the table, dice drawn up in a phalanx protecting your character sheet. Sweat is rolling down your Dew, and your mouth is dry from potato chips and anticipation as the head honcho stands up at the end of the table. He looks you over, and asks the same question he always asks when you start a new campaign.

Thoughts on Resident Evil 4 — After Playing It for the First Time 15 Years Later
To start this thing off let's take it back to when I first got Resident Evil 4 in 2016. No use in telling him... he's dead.
Dylan LeporePublished 7 years ago in Gamers 1 Hour Review: Papers, Please!
During the Steam sale, I picked up a game that I had seen talked about a lot. It’s called Papers, Please. First look at the game, I thought it was just going to be a silly game, where you just had to do things as quickly as possible, and then go from there, and get faster each day.
Such A GeekPublished 7 years ago in Gamers3 Ways to Spice Up Combat in RPGs
You spent weeks planning this confrontation. Squads of hobgoblins harried the party all the way up the mountain side, deathtraps lurked around every corner, and ancient curses tried to break their minds and spirits. They finally step into the ancient tomb of the lich lord, roll initiative... and just like that, the spell is broken, and you're back to business as usual. The tension, the drama, and the pulse-pounding excitement all leech out of the scene, hiding under the table until one side or the other emerges victorious from the run-of-the-mill slug fest your combat has become.

On October 27th, 1980, a really beautiful thing happened. The United Nations Education, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, also known as UNESCO, released a statement regarding the preservation of film. After more than 80 years, the film industry was finally being given significant historical status. Films were to be treated with far more respect than they had in the past, as they were now considered “an expression of the cultural identity of peoples, and because of their educational, cultural, artistic, scientific and historical value, form an integral part of a nation’s cultural heritage” that “have an increasingly important role to play as a means of communication and mutual understanding among all the peoples of the world.”

So I'd like to start by making it clear that I am in no way a GM god. I started playing D&D like, 10 years ago and for some reason, it seemed like I was the only dude with enough disposable time to take up the mantle and just do it.

5 Tips For Playing Better Rogues
We all think we've got a handle on the rogue. They're trap spotters, skullduggerers, thieves, blackguards, and all-around bastards. Their moral compass points toward gold, and there is no trick too low, and no scheme too dirty, for them to stick their fingers in.
