Super Meat Boy Forever Preview
Since 2010, we have all been playing Super Meat Boy, I'm sure. Dying a lot in the process, filling with rage and slowly making progress, but progress is progress, and this: This is progress.

Mark woodsPublished 7 years ago in GamersTop Ten PlayStation 1 Games (My Top Ten)
The PlayStation 1 or PlayStation or PS... or PS1 as everyone says. This console brings me back to some good old memories of using plug-in controllers and Memory Cards. The console was released on December 3rd, 1994 in Japan, September 9th, 1995 in North America, September 29th, 1995 in Europe, and lastly on November 15th, 1995, it was released in Australia. This console brings a lot of memories and great games that were played, so this is my top ten best PS1 games that I think were amazing to play when I was a kid.

After waiting all day for it to arrive, I load Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (MRKB) into my Switch and almost instantly, I was in love.
Aaron McArthurPublished 7 years ago in GamersPetscop Analysis
I heard about Petscop from a Game Theory video. The subtitle for the video was, "The Scariest Game You'll Never Play." And I thought instantly, that's bullshit, click-bait. I've deleted tons of crappy emails or scrolled while rolling my eyes past tons of comments of what they call "creepy pasta," that is, cut-and-pasted, internet-circulated horror stories, often having to do with urban legends about haunted video games.
Tron KurosawaPublished 7 years ago in Gamers'Princess Maker 2' and 'Long Live The Queen'
Trailer for Long Live The Queen by Hanako Games Long Live The Queen and Princess Maker 2 are two of my favourite games available on Steam. Both games are often compared to each other for similar gameplay elements, but they are both fantastic games in their own right. Even though the games are similar, I have seen people who have played one, but not the other assume that they're both exactly the same.
Chloe GilholyPublished 7 years ago in GamersDark Souls: The Ultimate Adventure Game
Dark Souls.... One of the greatest games ever to exist, in my humble opinion. Even with its treacherous difficulty, the game has become a cult classic for gamers all across the planet. With such difficulty, why would someone play a game that is overly challenging? Is the game actually THAT challenging? Is it really as much of a classic as people would have you believe? Let's take a deeper look.

Responding to "Gamer Shaming"
Well, it's been a few years, so "Gamer Gate" has kind of blown over by now. But that's precisely why I feel a pressing need to talk about it. Because, in the thick of it, it was hard to even say "Gamer Gate" without getting tongue-lashed or even censored. Now, hopefully, since "time heals all wounds" we can sit down like reasonable adults and have a reasonable discussion about it. It's worth discussing. We shouldn't try to pretend it didn't happen just because it was ugly and tantrum-y. Both sides raised important arguments and made interesting statements about what they think the "gamer" identity is and should be. These days, to move forward as gamers, we should address the concerns of the critics of the video gaming community. I think we should do this with rational arguments, which were lost to the firebombs of virulent hostility on both sides I witnessed a few years ago.

It is hard to believe that in September, Nintendo’s iconic game console, the N64, will celebrate its 21st birthday in North America.
Jacob ElyacharPublished 7 years ago in GamersAwesome Saturn Exclusives: RPGs
Hello, and welcome back to Silver Linings , where I find the positives in maligned pop culture. I didn't get a chance to play the Sega Saturn growing up. By the time I was old enough to buy my own games, the Saturn was already being phased out. It's botched early launch, high price point that didn't lower until it was just about dead, and Bernie Stolar's poor handling of Sega killed it in only two years in America. I didn't get my first real exposure to the Saturn until I hooked up with my current squeeze (we've been together now for 11 years, thank you very much).
