ENG vs AFG: Afghanistan beat the World Cup Champions by 69 Runs on Saturday. This was the biggest upset in the World Cup. England is out for 215 after 40.3, chasing 285 runs.

Mohammad Nabi (22), Dawid Malan (32), and Harry Brook (66) were the only English batsmen who could match the Afghan batters. Rashid Khan took three wickets, as did Mujeebul Rahman, Mohammad Nabi and Naveen Ul Haq.

Afghanistan scored 284 runs in their ICC World Cup match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. England chose to bowl after winning the toss.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz, the Afghanistan opener, scored 80 runs off 57 deliveries before he was run out. Ibrahim Zadran, his opening partner, contributed 28 runs to a partnership totaling 114 in 16 overs.

Ikram Alikhil, the new captain of the playing XI, scored 58 off 66 balls. Rashid Khan, the star leg-spinner, and Mujeeb Rahman scored 23 and 28 points respectively.

Adil Rashid is an England's leg-spinner who scored 3/42 in three of his first matches.
