How Free Fire is Better than PUBG

Hi Guys, how are you? I hope that all of you are good and most of you have played some video games.

Few years back PUBG was launched and it was trending everywhere whether it was PlayStore or YouTube or any other website. This game has totally changed the gaming marketplace.

Almost 100 million+ smartphone users in India had Installed that game and enjoyed it a lot. But after some time it was banned, some other games like Call of Duty, BattleGrounds India, Fortnite, etc. arrived on PlayStore but didn't do well.

But there was a game called Garena Free Fire, it was launched a few years earlier than PUBG, so you might say that PUBG has copied the ideas of Free Fire. The game was totally amazing and almost every smartphone was able to support and play that game.

Today in this Article I'll tell you how Free Fire is Better than PUBG, some other facts, etc.

But please remember that I didn't take any sponsorship from any company, it is purely my own opinion. So please don't take it seriously.

Start with Issue No. 1 – Privacy

As I said earlier PUBG was banned in India, but why? There were some reasons related to data stealing and some issues related to privacy that's why the Indian Government banned this Application.

In my opinion, the decision was good, because our privacy is totally our own. Nobody has the right to forcefully enquire about something unless we had done some criminal activity.

So it has some issues related to privacy and might be its data centers are located in China not in India, so there was a huge chance that China was trying to steal some data from India and then use the data for either marketing purposes or anything.

It is strategically very dangerous for any country that's why PUBG was banned. This is the issue No. 1 about PUBG which makes Free Fire a little bit better than PUBG.

Since the data centers of Free Fire are located in Indonesia and some other countries. No privacy issue has been found till now on Free Fire so we can say that Free Fire is far more secure than PUBG.

Let's move ahead and start discussing about the Issue No. 2

Issue No. 2 – High End Devices Required

I've played PUBG, Free Fire & COD and according to my knowledge and experiences PUBG is a high end game i.e. mid range smartphones can't run that game smoothly. Same happens with COD as well, since its graphics are a little bit higher than PUBG.

For this type of Issue, the developers of PUBG developed a light version of that game called "PUBG Lite," I thought that this could definitely defeat Free Fire but the opposite happened.

Instead of being a lazy competitor, Free Fire emerged as a very Fast Competitor and they developed it very well, introducing some new features which easily outranked "PUBG Lite."

And the best thing was that it was still running smoothly on the mid-range smartphones as well as on some low-range smartphones.

According to some of my friends and my experiences, PUBG requires those types of smartphones which must include new Snapdragon Processors of 600 series or above. If the MediaTek processor is assembled then it must be of the high range otherwise the game might start lagging.

But Free Fire is easily supported on 400 series Snapdragon Processors and even in some old MediaTek Processors.

So if you wanna play PUBG then you might need a High End Smartphone or PC which can handle the heavy graphics and functions.

PUBG Lite was a great competitor of Free Fire, but PUBG Lite also started lagging on some mid-range smartphones which drastically made the gamers furious and confused as well.

So this is it for issue No.2 let's move ahead to No.3

Issue No. 3 – Less Features Compared to Free Fire

Free Fire has so many features in it which are not available on PUBG, COD, BGMI or Fortnite like emotes, pets, gloo wall, skins, dress, abilities, etc.

Emotes are usually used for show off or something else, it is something like AR Emoji but without using your face or body movements.

Pets are simply your pets, they'll always run with you. Some of them have some abilities to do something special. Some of them are useful and some of them aren't.

Glue Wall is the best feature on Free Fire, if someone is hitting you and you don't have any place for hiding then you can use the Glue Wall to hide yourself from enemies. It is breakable, but must require so many hits.

Skins are of so many types like Pet Skins, Gun Skins, Melee Skins, etc. It'll change the look of the weapon or pet and will add some extra abilities to the Pet or Weapon. So it is not for show off, it is useful.

Talking about Abilities, there are some characters on Free Fire which have some extraordinary abilities like Healing ability of DJ Alok, the Hide into Shrub ability of Wukong, etc. Those types of abilities are only available on Free Fire.

Free Fire offers so many dressing styles in your vault, generally it is used for show off but for some people it looks like the beauty of that game.

So you can see how many features I'd written above, and PUBG doesn't offer those types of features. That's why I considered it a negative point for PUBG.

Issue No. 4 – Lesser Amount of Events than Free Fire

4th Issue is the number of events that the gaming platforms run on a regular basis. I'm 100% sure that no other game (excluding Supercell Games) can run that amount of events like Free Fire.

Free Fire runs so many events every week, they distribute new skins, weapons, characters, pets, etc. via those events.

But some other Games like PUBG, COD, etc. don't offer weekly events and the rewards are also very limited.

Currently (July 2nd week, 2021) Free Fire is running the SHIBA Dog Pet Event and luckily I got the Pet Dog. You should also try it.

According to some professional gamers, mostly the events of Free Fire run on the Brazilian Server and Indonesian Server. On those servers, more than 2 or 3 events run weekly.

So Free Fire has a higher number of events than PUBG, therefore it was also added as an issue in the issue list for PUBG. Let's move ahead.

Issue No. 5 – Higher No. of Glitches, Bugs & Hackers than Free Fire

The biggest issue for any game is hackers, bugs and glitches.

Glitches aren't a big issue because it is due to the player's bad internet connection, so PUBG can't do anything here. But yes they can reduce the graphics size to reduce glitches due to internet failures.

Bugs are big issues, I had a very bad experience with a bug on PUBG, it was a Vikendi Map and I don't know how I climbed on the top of a tree and I was not able to go down. So the enemy used a Kar-98K and made a head shot very easily.

The next big problem is hackers. So many streamers also faced so many hackers on PUBG, even some professional gamers also met some hackers on the battlefield.

I'd also seen some hackers, one was in the blue zone and his health doesn't go down even after 120 seconds, it is truly a hacker.

I also saw a group of hackers actually a squad. Don't know how the squad was able to become a motorcycle like Transformers.

All those things truly decrease the user experience which leads to decrease the number of active users and downloads.

There are some bugs & hackers on Free Fire as well, but the amount is drastically lower than PUBG.

So this was the last issue of PUBG which makes Free Fire a better option than PUBG.

Some Pros of PUBG

There are some plus points of PUBG like the graphics.

PUBG truly uses amazing quality graphics in their games, those graphics aren't better than COD but still they're better than the graphics used in Free Fire.

Another plus point of PUBG was controls.

According to my experiences, PUBG has the best controls when compared to those multiplayer games like Free Fire, COD, etc.

Free Fire doesn't offer that much quality in the controls, but if you use the settings properly then you can easily customise the controls according to your usage.

Conclusion

Conclusion

Overall both the games are good, but still Free Fire is better than PUBG due the 5 issues I'd written above. Especially the issue that was related to security was a major problem.

So in the case of Free Fire Vs PUBG, I'll definitely choose Free Fire.

Remember this article is 100% written by me on my own opinions and experiences so enjoy it.

This is it for today, have a good day.
