Introduction to Garten of BanBan

Garten of Banban is one of those indie mascot horror games, that at first glance look like the most low effort horror game you ever find, But somehow it manages to interest people. More i have played Garten of banban series, the more mixed feelings i have about the game. In garten of banban 6 you will continue your journey deeper into the mysterious establisment. The game has its problems, but it yet somehow manages to be interesting enough to come back, in each new game release to the series. Now we will delve deeper into Garten of banban 6 and see what it has to offer.

The Story

The story of Garten of banban follows the classic pattern, very similar to other mascot horror games, you are trapped inside a mysterious facility, filled with toys and mascots, that have become alive. In Garten of Banban 6 you will delve deeper in to the facility, following the story of Garten of Banban 5. The story haven't felt nothing special or unique ever since series started and in this far to the series it is going to be near impossible to chance that.

The graphics

The graphics in Garten of Banban has always been comically bad ever since i played the game for the first time. There has been no chances in this side of the game, however it always had it's own charm to it and it just works. Sometimes something is so bad, that it somehow becomes good or interesting in some odd way.

The horror

The horror in Garten of Banban is where the game truly shines. Have you ever seen a horror game or a monster and thought that how in the world, could you ever be scared of that thing? Well Garten of Banban does just that. The monsters seem oddly cute, harmless and yet extremely terrifying, when you get in to action. The jumpscares have been done quite well, as always and get you off guard quite often.

The Gameplay

You will explore the new level of the facility, continuing where you ended up in the last game. The gameplay follows the pattern of using tools, such as the drone to do various tasks for you and assist you, as we have seen on previous games. Like in all horror games, you should expect puzzles and Garten of banban is no different. The puzzles feel like a chore and really interrupt the flow of the game. Also most of the time they feel like they have no other purpose, than milk out play duration.

The Conclusion and Rating

In summary, Garten of Banban 6, an indie mascot horror game series, may seem low-effort at first, but somehow it is interesting enough to play. While the story lacks uniqueness, the comically bad graphics has it's own charm to it. The real strength lies in the horror, turning cute monsters into genuinely terrifying threats with well-executed jumpscares. Gameplay remains consistent, involving exploration, drone usage, and not too hard, but neither fun puzzles. Despite its flaws, Garten of Banban 6 is a worthwhile addition for the fans of the series, offering a somewhat interesting and engaging experience that transcends its initial appearance. With all of this in mind, I would be happy to give this game a solid 5/10. I believe this rating will be fair, acknowledging the games strenghts and weaknesses.
