After thirty years of fond memories on the Mega Drive, PlayStation, and XBox, EA Sports FC 24 is coming to say goodbye to the FIFA franchise. Are you wondering if it's any good? Then you must read our review of EA Sports FC 24. We'll also be sending you a ton of guides in the coming days, including ones on FC 24 Base Icons, FC 24 Celebrations, and FC 24 Skill Moves. In fact, this page will soon be updated to serve as a complete guidance hub. Here is all the information you need to know about FC 24 in the meantime.

When will EA Sports FC 24 be available?

On Friday, September 29, EA Sports FC 24 will be made available to purchase. Erling Haaland, a standout for Manchester City, is featured on the cover of the ordinary edition, while the Ultimate Edition features 31 players from the past and present. On its composite cover art, people like Pele, David Beckham, Marcus Rashford, Samantha Kerr, and Virgil van Dijk are shown.

Cross-play's expansion

EA announced that its well-liked Pro Clubs mode will now support cross-play. As long as they have the same generation of console, Xbox and Playstation owners can now compete against one another using their own personalized teams. So, for instance, a PS4 player won't be able to confront a Series X owner.

I primarily play PlayStation games, explains Erbz. Therefore, I want to gather some of my PlayStation pals and play against my Xbox friends to see who can win some sort of bragging rights.

"It allows for a far larger player pool. Both in a good and terrible sense, it will be chaotic. So, sure, I am looking forward to it, and I can already tell how much fun it will be.

However, there is terrible news for Nintendo Switch users: cross-play will not be coming to your console.

How exactly do EA Sports FC 24 PlayStyles function?

EA Sports FC 24 PlayStyles, which are modeled off Madden 23 X-Factors, give the top players in the world more personality. The total number of basic ones is 34, but each has a "plus" variant, bringing the total to 68. In a player's profile, "basic" ones are denoted by a blue logo, while "plus" ones are denoted by an orange logo.

Examining Manchester City's roster is the easiest method to explain this. Jockey, Nathan Ake's sole PlayStyle, is at least the 'plus' variety. Ruben Dias has four: a blue Aerial Duel badge, a blue Blocker badge, and an orange Bruiser badge. Meanwhile, Kevin de Bruyne has six PlayStyles under his belt: Set Piece Specialist (blue), Bullet Pass (orange), Outside Foot (blue), Whipped Crosser (orange), and Pass Into Space (orange). And as a result, he manages this year in a totally unique way.

Does the existence of EA Sports FC 24 preclude FIFA 24?

Yes, but there might yet be FIFA 25 and FIFA 26. The FIFA series will carry on, with a different developer in charge than EA, according to a statement from the governing body of football. Additionally, it is converting to a non-exclusive model, which means several development teams will be working on a variety of games under the FIFA brand.

Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, says, "I can assure you that the only genuine, real game that carries the FIFA name will be the best one that is available for gamers and football fans." "The only internationally unique title is FIFA. The FIFA name will always be present and will continue to be THE BEST, whether it is FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25, or FIFA 26, for example. They are not our capital letters; they are his.

For sports enthusiasts, EA Sports FC 24 is one of the most anticipated new games of 2023. It will be released in September for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
