Essential Characters Needed In 'Fire Emblem: Heroes'

With certain characters having multiple different outfits, how do we not have even one of these gems included?

Dear Vocal Readers,

Oh, the Fire Emblem franchise, how absolutely obsessed I am with it. Truth be told my experience with this franchise began with the app Fire Emblem: Heroes and not one of the actual games. For those who may not know what this app is, it includes little mini games and events you can do with characters from the actual console games. You can summon different characters by using orbs gained through playing the game (sadly by random draw however). The game currently has 536 different characters included in this game with many more on the way. But even with 536 characters they have failed to include some of the most essential from the numerous games. So, in this article I will be discussing some of those specific characters that deserve to have their own spot in this app. Of course not every Fire Emblem fan will agree with my choices and there are so many characters necessary for this app that I certainly won't be able to name them all. But I will do my best to name a few characters that I am missing the most so get your butt's planted and get ready!

Kent and Sain (Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade)

We are kicking off this list with two of the OG cavalry units of the franchise! Kent and Sain are some of the first characters we meet in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and they are also two of my favorites the game has to offer. With their personalities being so different but their bond being so close, these two have support conversations you do not want to miss. I mean Kent can even marry Lyndis for goodness sake (which is the match I go with)! These two are pivotal characters for their game and with Cain and Abel being in the app, how do we not have these two?!

Sylvain and Felix (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

Here we are with two of my ultimate favorites from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and even the franchise as a whole. These two lifelong friends are also extremely different from each other but have their own unique personalities that make them memorable. We got one ladies man and one cutthroat in the same house and it couldn't be better honestly. But simply stated we need these two legends in the app and we need them ASAP.

Colm and Neimi (Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones)

Honestly one of the cutest supports in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones can we be honest? What's funny about them is that they are basically canon even before you go through their supports unlike many other possible couples in the game. But these two are adorable in a bit of an unstable way. However, their love and care for one another shines through, making these two of the standout characters of this game.

Marcus (Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade & Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade)

Is Marcus an extremely important or likable character? No. However, he is a playable unit for two games which is extremely rare to say the least. He also happens to be one of the strongest units in these two games which makes him useful in a clutch. He's just a strong soldier with a long life who deserves an appearance in the app!

Ricken (Fire Emblem: Awakening)

We seriously have almost every single Shepherd except for Ricken so what is going on? Sure he may not be everyone's favorite but at this point not having him in the app just feels like the developers have a serious grudge against him. He's just a cute little mage what's so wrong with him guys? Just add him already you know he can't wait to join the show!

Kamui (Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia)

Picture from https://fireemblem.fandom.com/wiki/Kamui

Every game has the smooth-talking swordsman and Kamui is just that for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia. I greatly enjoyed this super lucky man in his game and wonder how pretty boring characters like Forsyth were allowed into the app before him. He's also like one of the only Asian-appearing characters in this Asian series which makes him a true standout and unique character.

Rhea (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

Don't get me wrong, I personally think Rhea is one of the worst characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but she would just be such a cool unit for the app to include. To have her go from her human form to the dragon form would be so awesome to see and I can just imagine how beautifully they would make her artwork for the game.

~~

Well there you have it! There's my list of characters who need to make an appearance in the Fire Emblem: Heroes app. As I stated before, these are only few of the many characters who deserve a shot in the new app and for their lights to shine. If I can think up a few more (which I am very sure will happen) I guess I will just have to make another list. Until then, live on and Fire Emblem till your pockets are empty!

Sincerely from my Fire Emblem fan girl mind,

Kacie

P.S. Have fun reading the words "Fire Emblem" around 20 times in this article (now make that 21)!
