For just over 5 years, Blizzard Entertainment has slowly began to work on improving their smash-hit title in every way. Over the past few years we've seen the additions of new adventure mode including new dungeons, new sets, and even new events as they popped up. In recent years we've seen things such as the seasons release, which invited fans to enjoy a mechanic that seemed rather familiar from #Diablo II. This mode includes new armor sets, new bosses, and even a leaderboards dedicated to those who could ambitiously plow through enemies as they please.

Today, Blizzard has finally began to pull the curtain back on the fan favored class, which will serve as Diablo III's newest installation, and one that will come at a decent price. So what can you expect from the class that is set to launch for $15 USD on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next week on Tuesday, June 27th? Lets take a look.

The Necromancer will retain what made the class unique between bone spells, summoning spells, and even new "blood" abilities. Because of this we will be taking a peek at a few things they are going to be quite capable of next week, which many of you have hopefully got to experience in the closed beta weekends.

  • Siphon Blood: Drain the blood from your enemies, sapping their life away while healing yourself.
  • Skeletal Mage: Raise the skeletal remains of powerful sorcerers and direct their spells against your foes.
  • Corpse Explosion: Turn corpses into grisly powder kegs, blowing them up for massive area-effect damage.
  • Bone Spirit: Conjure an unearthly marrow spirit to hunt down your enemies and explode on contact.
  • Revive: Command fallen monsters to rise and join your unstoppable army of death.
  • Frailty: Curse your enemies to bring them closer to death's door, killing them instantly at low health.

As you can tell from Blizzard's official release, a few familiar abilities are making a return on Tuesday. These abilities include ones such as Revive, Bone Spirit, and Corpse Explosion, which are a respectable nod for fans of Diablo II. Among these new spells we get to see Siphon Blood, Frailty, and even Skeletal Mage make an appearance. While Skeletal Mage can easily be referenced to Summon Skeleton, it's not quite the same as we won't see hordes of skeletal minions running a muck.

Of course. We know how Blizzard is when it comes to their games. They aren't shy at throwing fans of their games a large sized bone. With this announcement they have announces that we will see four new class sets exclusive to the Necromancer class, over 30 new legendaries to farm up, an in-game pt, and even two additional character slots to enjoy.

But wait, there's more.

Lets face it, I know you read that in your best Billy Mays voice. The DLC will also include wings for you to enjoy, banners, and more for your customizational needs. Instead of a HUGE list, lets take a look at that release announcement trailer, and see just what you might be expecting.

If that trailer doesn't get you excited for the Necromancer, just wait for the livestreams that will pop up next week.
