You probably heard about the current version of Diablo, as it is very popular. But in this story, I will introduce the beta version of Diablo 4.

Blizzard Entertainment has recently announced that Diablo IV will be released in June 2023 and will be available on both PC and consoles.

However, before the official launch, an open beta will be held to allow players to test the game and decide if it’s something they want to invest their time and money in.

The initial beta will be exclusive to those who preordered Diablo IV and will be followed by an open beta a few weeks later. Participating in the open beta will also earn players some extra rewards to use in the final game.

The first beta phase will commence in March and feature a substantial portion of the Sanctuary world.

It’s important to note that while the progress made during the early access beta will carry over to the open weekend, it will not be carried over to the full game when it is officially launched.

This means players shouldn’t get too attached to their characters during the beta phase.

What will be available in the Diablo IV beta?

The Diablo IV beta promises an exciting peek into the upcoming game. Players will have access to everything in the prologue and Act 1, including the main campaign missions and additional quests.

The beta will be centered around the Fractured Peaks zone, where players can explore and advance their character up to level 25.

According to Blizzard, the beta will allow players to experience the core gameplay of Diablo IV, with some expected bugs. They will be collecting feedback from the beta to improve the game ahead of its final release.

During the early access period, players will have three classes to choose from, with all five classes available during the open beta.

It’s worth noting that progress made in the beta will not carry over to the full game. However, players who reach level 20 during the beta will receive a cosmetic reward known as the Beta Wolf Pack, featuring an adorable wolf pup on their back.

A world boss, Ashava, will also be present during the beta period, spawning four different times, including once on a Saturday. This allows players in both beta periods to fight the powerful boss.

Details about the closed and open beta dates.

The early access weekend for Diablo IV’s beta will occur from March 17–19, with preorders serving as the entry ticket for this initial phase. Whereas for everyone else who didn't preorder the game, there will be a separate open beta from March 24–26. Players will be able to pre-load the game one week before the beta period.

Final Words

Diablo IV, the highly anticipated game from Blizzard Entertainment, is set to be released in June 2023 on both PC and consoles. However, before its official launch, the game will have an open beta in March, allowing players to test it and offer feedback for improvements.

The beta will include the prologue, Act 1, and the Fractured Peaks zone, where players can advance their character to level 25. While the progress made during the beta will not carry over to the full game, players who reach level 20 will receive a cosmetic reward. The closed beta will occur from March 17–19, while the open beta will occur from March 24–26.

Overall, the beta promises to be an exciting peek into the upcoming game and a chance for players to determine if it’s something they want to invest their time and money in.
