Dead or Alive 6

The popular fighting series has recently had Tamaki from Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation.

Previous downloads include Momiji from Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword, Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond from the King of Fighters series, Nyotengu and Phase 4 from the previous installment of the DOA series, and Rachel from the 2004 game Ninja Gaiden.

So far, there have been no further announcements of other characters who will be available as Downloadable Content. But that does not mean that there won't be any in the future.

Here I will give my opinions on who should appear as a DLC in the future.

Ii Naotora

The apologetic, but duty bound to her clan character made an appearance in the previous installment of the series, but so far there has been no word of her being in the sixth installment of the game.

Jô Hayabusa

The father of Ryu Hayabusa died in the NES version of Ninja Gaiden, but in the more recent versions of the Ninja Gaiden series he is still alive.

So therefore, having the father of the most famous ninja in video games should be within the realm of possible characters to download in DOA 6.

Genshin

The main antagonist from Ninja Gaiden 2 and Overlord of the Black Spider Clan certainly proves to be a ruthless fellow, so ruthless that he would make an excellent addition to the DOA series as an antagonist.

Irene Lew

She appeared in Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, along with the original Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden 2: The Dark Sword of Chaos and Ninja Gaiden 3: The Ancient Ship of Doom.

So it looks like I am not the only one thinking about adding another one of Ryu's lady friends to the DOA 6 download idea.

Blue Mary

Since Mai Shiranuai and Kula Diamond are in DOA 6, why not the girlfriend of Terry Bogard?

Takuma Sakazaki

The father of Yuri and Ryo Sakazaki should have a crack at being in the DOA 6 universe. He would be the first male member of the King of Fighters to be added to the DOA 6 roster and it would be nice to have another Karate Expert.

Cestus Gladiator/Gladiatrix?

A Gladiator who fought with their fists that were wrapped with leather and sometimes had metal or knuckle pieces or even spikes or blades in them.

Since DOA 6 is taking people from different universe and timelines, why not add a Cestus style Gladiator or Galdiatrix?

Pat Gordon

Since Ninja Gaiden comes from the same company as the Dead or Alive series, why not have a character from Tecmo World Wrestling make an appearance?

I know that Akira Dragon is in this photo, but there are enough Japanese characters in the DOA universe. So why not have a Greek fighter like Pat Gordon make an appearance?

This would open up the possibility of having some of the other wrestlers from Tecmo World Wrestling making an appearance.

Rygar

Another classic from Tecmo that was on the NES was revived on the PlayStation 2 back in 2002 and the Wii in 2008. Since then, nothing has been done in the series featuring this slayer of the Titans from the Greco-Roman world.

His fighting technique could be Pankration and he would have to be without his fabled Diskarmor (unless the makers of DOA 6 wants to make it the first time a character who uses a shield for defensive purposes).

Final thoughts
