Putting revenge in the gaming business
, where
If you are wondering why I chose this yet to be released game as the title cover, perhaps I should explain.
About 100,000,000 shark deaths by humans happen per year. A tragedy isn't it?
Sure, sharks aren't cuddly like your dog or cat, but that is no excuse to kill them all off. In this game you can take revenge against humans by killing them and eating them.

But what about other games that seem to have the whole revenge theme? Sure it's a dark thing that nobody should be consumed by, but in the video game world who cares?
Here are my ideas for vengeance themed video games.
Bear attacks
I know many of you are familiar with the Standing Rock protest and how the "American legal system" chose to punish the protesters and not the pipeline.
In the particular story that I have in mind an event similar to Standing Rock will happen, only this story will take place somewhere in Alaska maybe Canada. Only instead of angry protesters, the pipeline people will face the wrath of an angry Grizzly Bear.
My thoughts on the angry Grizzly bear could be the fact that the bear wants to kill humans because A) it's mate or children were killed B) it's a vengeful native spirit.
Some of the features could involve a fight between bears, along with different fur colors for the main bear (including some with cool looking scars).
One Big Angry kitty
Similar to my vengeful bear idea, the story idea would be young lion who has come of age finds that his pride was killed off by poachers and is now killing humans for the sake of vengeance.
Poachers, idiot tourists, guerillas, corporate scum running a mining operation, many ideas for killing people by a lion.
One idea could involve the killing of tribesmen, although the character doesn't have to kill off a tribe or any of its people. It could involve a series of quests that gains the trust of one tribe and then another to the point where they can unite and revolt against people who would threaten the land.
Another possibility in this game would be a Lion King option, where you fight to be a leader of a pride or maintain your pride to gain more followers.
Hooker's Revenge?
It's bad enough women in today's society are treated like crap, but women who sell their bodies get it even worse.
So what if there was a game where the main character is a hooker (you can customize her like they do in Skyrim/Fallout) that had taken her last beating from her pimp and is rescued by a disgraced martial artist/street fighter.
From then on your character is taught how to fight and then meets other hookers, bums, thugs and other lost souls who have had enough of society's crap and decide to join the female protagonist.
From then on she can build her own organization of working girls, underground fights, illegal gambling, chop-shopping, weapons dealing and blackmailing people with questionable photos. Sure this would be a dark game, but it would be excellent for those who despise society and wish to exact some sort of vengeance.
Latin American Vengeance
Need I tell you why people south of the border hate the USA?
Once more, you would have a Skyrim like option of making your character whatever gender, facial features or hairstyle of your choice, but they would still have Hispanic features.
The plot could take place in a fictional Central/South American country that has just been taken over by a ruthless dictator backed by the United States government and is being overrun with ruthless mercenaries and greedy corporations.
The player would be seeking revenge for the murder of his/her family and friends, while carrying out various missions of sabotage, assassinations, protecting sacred sites and primitive tribes, steal supplies to help the rebels, along with many other attacks on the dictatorship and US backed facilities.
The game would also have a Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction theme where you can seize various land, sea and air vehicles to end the military junta and receive newer, cooler weapons.
