The same goes for our little team of, well, interesting individuals. Although it may seem like a Half-Life mod, originally it was created from Quake source code. It was one of the first games to introduce different characters' classes in FPS. Most shooters just gave you guns and pointed you into some direction. Quickly it became a thing on a competitive scene and messed things up with Team Fortress 2. In a good way, of course.

Counter-Strike

This one was on the other side of the aisle compared to the previous ones . In case of Counter-Strike (and following Counter Strike Global Offensive), it was all about the multiplayer.
