Women are Objects
And other dumb shit men said today.

Welcome back to another Monster fueled rant.
Today, I want to talk about a video I came across on Instagram. There I was minding my own business when I come across a video from someone I never even heard of. It was a debate about women and how they should present themselves. There is no clean link to the video that I can find anywhere outside of Instagram and there is no link to share it, so let me break it down.
It starts with a woman in an unbuttoned denim jacket. She has no shirt, no bra, just some titty tape holding the jacket onto her nipples. She asks this question:
"Is it insecure of a man to not want you to dress sexy as his wife"
Here is the rest of the conversation.
"What is sexy?"
"What I got on."
"Women don't seem to understand how territorial men are. It's different if you were covered up... but baby... you got titty tape on. So yes, of course, a man who knows how other men are going to look at you.. knowing there's going to be predators or that they're going to pursue you. He's right for saying that. That doesn't mean he's insecure. He's territorial. That's a mans nature and that's absolutely ok.
It's your responsibility as his woman to understand his nature and to also have boundaries with yourself. Knowing what you are exposing yourself to. Men will tell you if you dress provocative, they're going to say they see you as an object. Stop calling men insecure. that is their God given right to say, 'I don't want my woman to present herself that way out here because she is a representation of not only me but of herself.'"
The video ends there. She wasn't wrong. I agree with what the woman said.
A husband wanting his wife to present herself with respect and boundaries isn't inherently insecure, it's about mutual respect and recognizing how the world operates. A solid marriage requires boundaries, and both partners should care about how they present themselves out of respect for each other.
I left a comment that pretty much said all of that but added in one critical caveat... If a man expects his wife to dress conservatively and respect the relationship, that same man shouldn't be scrolling through OnlyFans, liking half naked photos of other women on Instagram, or ogling naked or half naked women online or at beaches etc. Respect isn't a one-way street. You don't get to demand a modest wife while actively consuming every other woman around you or on the internet.
Predictably, the comment section exploded with a brigade of men absolutely furious at the concept of basic consistency. The counter arguments were a fucking masterclass in missing the point entirely.
One genius asked, "Do you ever look at shoes in a window you don't want? That's how we think of women. Y'all are objects and some are only worth a look."
Another added, "Oh yeah, men should just be blind and never look."
Then we had, "We can look if we want." Alongside about twenty different comments calling me 'slow' and 'retarded'.
To those idiots, I'd just like to say, thank you... for confirming my exact damn point. Reducing human women to shoes in a storefront isn't the flex you think it is. It's explicit objectification. If you view women as consumer goods in a window, you lack the exact discipline and respect you demand from a spouse. You can't claim to value honor while treating every woman outside your home as an object for your entertainment. Also, it's disrespectful as fuck to your own wife. What the fuck? My brain can't even process the amount of stupidity happening here.
I even got an inbox slide of some enormous douche bag offering up his nudes, assuring me I would 'love what I saw.'
Ew. Absolutely fucking not. Hardest pass ever.
Men like this seem to navigate the world under the delusion that their penises are the most magnificent things to exist and the public is begging to view them. In reality, women (or myself as a woman anyways) are more intrigued by a man who possesses an actual brain and basic reading comprehension skills... traits that were absolutely absent from every tool in that comment thread.
The irony peaked when several commenters tried to use Bible scripture against me, claiming Matthew says women should be punished for 'tempting' men, all while calling me stupid.
So, let's actually look at the scripture they're trying to hide behind, since none of them actually read it.
Matthew 5:27-29 says: "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away."
Notice what is completely fucking missing? Any command to punish women. Jesus placed the burden of self-control entirely on the person doing the looking. If your eyes are wandering where they shouldn't, scripture tells you to gouge your own damn eye out, not to blame the person standing in front of you.
Hiding behind theology you haven't bothered to read just to protect your own bullshit is disgusting. Misquoting the Bible to justify your own lust while demanding total submission from women isn't piety, it's pure hypocrisy.
Women are so utterly sick of it all and exhausted by constantly being told what to do with our bodies by men who reduce us to objects and claim ownership. You can't have your cake and eat it too. You don't get to demand a traditional, covered-up wife while bankrolling, liking and ogling the hyper sexualized presentation of other women. If you insist on treating the rest of the female population as public property, stop pretending you give a shit about honor or values.
I know... I know... it's not ALL men... but fuck... it sure feels like the majority when a comment section fills up with hundreds of them aggressively defending their right to act like hypocrites. The men in those comments proved my point entirely. They spend all their time worrying about whether women are 'wife material,' completely blind to the fact that their own utter lack of accountability and logic proves they don't even remotely measure up to what a husband should be.
It makes you wonder, do these "conservative men" actually value conservatism and modesty... or do they just want a hidden treasure to hoard like gold coins?
Because if you actually valued conservatism as a core belief, you would respect it across the board. You wouldn't be out here eagerly consuming and funding the very exposure you claim to despise just because it's attached to someone else's wife or daughter.
That isn't living by traditional principles, it's just selfish possessiveness. It's treating a wife like a trophy you lock in a safe while you go out and admire everyone else's display cases. You don't care about modesty. You care about ownership and control.
