Every single culture throughout history has its own mythology of mythical and otherworldly creatures. The deeper you go deep into the mythology of the world, the more bizarre the creatures are. From the gigantic to the tiny, from the subterranean to the ethereal, the wise to the bizarre, If you can even imagine it, it likely exists in mythology.

But we're not able to believe that humans didn't think of them, at least not completely. Many myths and cryptids are based on the Real-Life Origin of Mythical Creatures, animals, as well as other human beings.

There are many legendary monsters in history. Some myths and their creatures are really famous. As we all know few legendary monsters like vampires, werewolves ..etc which are really famous in history and among people in today's world. Here are the Top 5 Real-Life Origins of legendary monsters that mix fantasy with a smidgen of real-world reality.

Vampires are ignorance of science.

Vampires are a myth that is difficult to dispel due to the fact that, unlike unicorns with horns, vampires possess numerous abilities that are both natural and supernatural. It's difficult to establish their existence in actual creatures and even phenomena. But, many of the aspects of the vampire can be explained easily usually due to medieval European ignorance.

Undeath? Coffins were exhumed and found with scratches on the inside lid for centuries because of burials that were too early. Fangs and gauntness? Decomposition dries out the body and reduces the size of the gums, which pushes the teeth further than the living ones.

Do you have a phobia of sunlight? There are many diseases that can cause this symptom that include albinism, lupus, or photophobia. Some even concussions. Hypersexuality, hyper aggression as well as a relationship with bats and wolves? Rabies is a good fit for a variety of vampiric boxes, which brings us to the next issue and that is...

WereWolves are also scientific ignorance

Werewolves have been linked to vampires in modern mythology, yet both have more enduring connections because of their common roots. As with vampires, rabies is an accepted theory of wild behavior of werewolves, and may actually result from a bite of a wolf.

Porphyria is another frequent suggestion that can lead to aggression, aversion light (even the nighttime) as well as an association of receding gums as well as teeth that have reddened--which can appear like fangs.

Another possibility is known as werewolf syndrome hypertrichosis that can cause hair to cover the majority of areas of our bodies. Although it is unlikely to be for the two conditions to co-exist, a person with hypertrichosis and rabies could be the one who spits (and foaming) the image of a werewolf.

BigFoot is a Gigantopithecus

Bigfoot together with his many other kin across the globe, may be the most well-known cryptid in the world today. The Bigfoot, and we could actually say they, are the perfect model for paranormal groups and cryptozoology researchers.

They've won the attention of millions of people, and a large part of their appeal is the credulity of their existence. Most people don't believe that they exist, but you can ask every primatologist and they'll tell you a myriad of reasons to believe they're absolutely possible. One of these reasons is that bigfoots were around at one time not that long ago.

Gigantopithecus is an animal species that disappeared around 300,000 years in the past (or could it have been extinct for a longer period of time) ...), remain alive for the time when it was in contact with humans in the local area). It's only known through tooth and jaw fragments which makes estimates of size a bit hazy but at least massive. The height estimates vary between 8-12 feet tall. Weight estimates vary from 600 to 1,200 pounds, which is 150% to 300% of the size of the silverback gorilla.

Most likely a part of the Ponginae subfamily, which includes orangutans as well the animal would likely appear to have been a huge large, dense, hairy ape. While it was trudging through the forest, our ancestors saw the bigfoot of their time. If it or a close family member, lived to modern days in the unexplored, vast forest of the world, maybe the myth of the bigfoot is actually the real story behind the bigfoot.

Unicorns are woolly rhinoceroses.

Unicorns are among the most well-known mythological creatures; yet, each two-year-old knows the magic unicorns with horns. They've also appeared in various stories for over many thousands of years throughout Europe in addition to Asia. One of the first examples of unicorns is directly from Greek historian Ctesias who wrote of unicorns as being animals that were native in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Perhaps it's not just a coincidence that in reality, unicorns existed in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Elasmotherium was an old rhino genus with the most distinctive features being hair that was shaggy and its hairy horn that juts straight from its forehead. In addition, when compared with modern rhinos the legs of Elasmotherium were larger and its teeth were more like those of a horse. The first people to come upon its skeleton, which was possibly preserved in its former frigid habitat, would be rational in thinking that they'd just discovered remnants of a horned horse or unicorn.

Hydra was a mutant snake

Snakes, as well as related reptiles such as turtles and lizards, can be diagnosed with an illness referred to as polycephaly. This like its name suggests refers to that there is more than one head. While any creature that has a head could be born with this condition, it is most common in snakes. It's even more prevalent in warmer areas, such as for instance Greece, Mediterranean temperatures of Greece.

If the ancient Greek was to be one of these snakes with multiple heads all it takes is a sense of the dramatic to allow that bizarre-looking reptile to turn into the frightening Hydra.
