Flowers are a dream come true! Although you don't always have the opportunity to explore nature to admire them, you still have other options at hand. A few potted flowers sprinkled in places not only color your house but also fill you with joy.

If you have a very busy schedule and fail to take proper care of houseplants, we suggest a few potted flowers that are very easy to care for. You will fall in love with them!

Five easy-care potted flowers

Primula

Primula, one of the most beloved pot flowers, is associated with perfection. But, beyond the symbolism, the primrose (you will hear that it is also called the cuckoo's beak) is a flower that exudes joy through colors.

It is important to know that it does not last long inside the apartment if it does not have fresh air at all times. If you receive the first gift, keep it on the edge of the window sill and open the window as often as possible. Your little friend will enjoy the air she so desperately needs.

Light is another element that the primal needs in order not to wither. Keep it in a bright place, at temperatures between 10–16 degrees, but avoid direct contact with the sun.

The best part is that if you water it twice a week, your flower will be more than happy. Do not overdo it with moisture, as the plant may rot.

The primrose will amaze you with its intensely colored petals, but you should not be surprised if it does not bloom near the summer months. He'll be back in the fall. The leaves of the trees die, but your primrose is barely reborn.

Begonia

Begonia is a great houseplant, which adapts easily and does not need special care. Its flowers are like smaller roses. Be sure to provide a pot below and low humidity conditions.

Let it grow beautifully in front of any window, in the light, but protected from the sun's rays, especially on hot days (the leaves dry quite quickly). To grow beautifully, the begonia needs a temperature of about 20–22 degrees Celsius. Allow the soil to dry well each time you water it so that you can water it every few days.

Don't worry if most of the begonia leaves dry out in the fall. Begonia is one of those flowers that needs a lot of light, which means that the plant grows during the day. The more light hours it has, the better.

In the warm seasons, you will have a happy and flowering begonia, but give the soil special fertilizers to stimulate flowering.

Geranium

The geranium is by far one of the most widespread pot flowers in our area. It is not pretentious and blooms beautifully, but you have to follow a few simple rules. For example, it keeps the plant in the light as intense as possible, because it loves the sun and resists well even in strong rays.

The geranium resists very well in pots and blooms profusely if watered 3 times a week. You don't have to touch the flowers, because you risk damaging them.

It would be preferable to water it in the morning or the evening, especially on hot days, because it does not tolerate heat stress well. In winter, the geranium gets wet once a month, not more often! Starting in February, you can give him more water until he gets back on track.

Peace lily

"Peace Lily" is one of those flowers that looks fabulous and is very easy to care for. A plant native to South America, the "Peace Lily" (Spathiphyllum) prefers bright rooms (although it behaves extremely well in places away from light) and usually grows slowly, so do not try to speed up its flowering by excessive watering or direct sun exposure.

You will hurt them more. It is enough to water it once or twice a week and give it all the light it needs by placing the pot at a distance of 1–2 meters from the window. Peace Lily loves high temperatures (20–29 degrees), so make sure you keep it warm in the winter.

Cactus

You wouldn't think that a cactus falls into the category of "potted flowers", but there are species that bloom extraordinarily beautifully! If a cactus survives in the desert, it will certainly survive in your apartment, no matter how busy you are.

If you forget to water it, it's not a problem, it's a plant that doesn't need a lot of water to grow well. Choose a spectacular species that will delight you with brightly colored flowers. Mammillaria is a beautiful variety with small, white, yellow, or red flowers. Echinopsis is another type of cactus that blooms beautifully.

Place the pot in a very bright place, water the soil once a week or even less often, and the cactus will grow freely, happily.
