The Truth About Something Historical Might Change Your View Of The World
From the repetitive bombardment of garbage to the constant reporting of evil things, your worldview isn't shaped by you.
It's time to change how you react to the world and the constant bombardment of information, mostly bad.
This one repetitive phrase about the world is wrong, but it still affects how you perceive the world. Your perspective on the world determines your acceptance of the life you’ve been given, whether good or bad. If your perspective is wrong, because of inaccuracies or bad information, then how you deal with the world becomes wrong. Doesn’t it?
The world has always been what it is today. Agree? Or do you disagree? It is an interesting thought that might change how we perceive the world around us. However, until you open your mind to the possibilities, you will not accept the premise.
Science Fiction fans were taught this one over forty years ago. Obi-Wan Kenobi explained to Luke that what he’d said about Luke’s father being dead was true, from a certain point of view. And that changed how some of us grew up and thought of things. It made us realize that there is more than one way to view things.
The Most Inaccurate Statements
The most inaccurate statements can make you perceive the world as being controlled by people out to get you.
Take politics, for instance. Recently, the Democrats' talking point shifted to the decision about the Voting Rights Act and how racial gerrymandering is no longer acceptable. No, the voting rights aren’t gone. People of all races, creeds, and persuasions will still be able to vote. Even if the Save Act were to pass, you can still vote.
The inaccuracy of the information being put forth is meant to upset you and rally you to their side of the aisle. Why would anybody tell half-truths, mislead you, or outright lie? It’s not that they care about your future.
It is all about power. Power gives them control of the playing field. It makes it easier for them to manipulate things so they enjoy more wealth, more control, and more prestige. It’s that simple. And right now, they're so mixed up that honesty is evil, and they keep losing to the anybody but them candidate.
The Greatest Lie Ever Told
That type of misinformation leads us to the greatest lie ever told by people. The world is getting more dangerous. You’ve heard some sentiment that ultimately pointed to the world being less safe. And yes, you’ve seen actual evidence of that.
But take a moment and think about it for yourself. How often is there a murder in the world? How about in the United States?
In 2025, there were an estimated 12,000 to 13,000 murders.
The breakdown appears to equal about 3 murderers per 100,000 people. That’s nowhere near as alarming as it once was.
Take, for instance, the story of Kane and Abel. As the third and fourth people on the planet, according to the bible, 25 percent of the population gave way to their anger and committed murder.
Overall, the world isn’t representative of how it started. It’s no more dangerous, with less than one percent of the world being prone to murder.
So, when you hear someone uttering their feelings about how the “world’s getting worse,” try to remember that’s only a sentiment. It’s a feeling. As people, we utter those sentiments with no intellectual thought behind them. They’re purely based on our emotions.
Is the world getting worse? It all comes down to a certain point of view. Perhaps it is, or perhaps it’s all in how we see the world that makes it so heartbreaking.
What’s your point of view on the world?
Takeaways
The thing one should take away from a look at the truth about point of view and different perspectives is simple. Not everyone can see others' points of view. Some people are naturally positive. Others, negative. And then some only see the point of view that gives them power, authority, and position over others.
Our perspective on things is important. How we view the world helps control how we respond to the stimuli affecting our lives.
Imagine taking everything seriously. You’d never have a moment's peace. So, when it comes to the point of view you have, take the time to examine it before committing to believing you’re doing things right, or that you know what is really happening. Much like those who only see the world as getting worse by the minute, your point of view might need to be reexamined.
