In this modern society, most of us demand to be in a lap of luxury, the tendency behind overspending on things which are not at all they need but the obsession can be seen around the world. The biggest problem that we have today is related to "E-waste" in my previous blog I did speak about technology and how this can change anyone's life and all the positive things about it but as we know that, human tendency always want something new, yet the reason behind the e-waste and difficult to recycle them. There are some big companies, making new gadgets, electronic from e-waste but still they're not able to curb the problem. There are many factors behind spending money on unnecessary things, the first and foremost evident reason is the fancy marketing technique and other most common reason is the obsession to shop, as many of us always lured by fancy marketing, display of large stores and all, holding yourself next to impossible if your pockets are deep.

The momentary sense gives them the power to buy things in their life. On a flip, some people have such a culture where they've been seen their parents, kin, friends going shopping without even a valid reason but for the fun. It is needless to say when people have such atmosphere around or when they have grown up in such culture it becomes the common and obvious reason for them to shop and the surprising fact they never pay enough attention to it.

Another reason that I would like to talk about here is for those consumers who buy things just to show off, always enthusiastic to display their financial status and superiority, money gives them the power to buy whatever they like regardless of need hence the main reason behind today's big problem. This should be taken on a priority basis by providing ample knowledge about e-waste to the young as this can help them to understand the value of money. There are thousands of people who hardly get money to eat decent food, even some are not lucky enough to get a daily meal. people who spend a lot of money can contribute little to mankind it can bring a big change in society or in most cases government can levy the penalty on people if they waste the food, for instance, there are restaurants in Germany where people pay fine if they waste the food.

Some steps can be taken to stop people from overspending as spending on things is completely a subjective matter and no direct action can be taken but the awareness itself is much needed to control the problem. I think what I believe is that quality education can make a difference as it makes youth aware of it.

Money not only gives them the power to buy anything in this world but sometimes the powerful person tries to dominate the weaker being. In my previous point, we were talking about the quality education what do you understand by quality education? don't we have quality education? yes, we do have but we should give them more realistic experience to understand/feel the problem and this can be done only, if you show the visual or audio, such as movie, or short film and documentary.

Furthermore, people are so much into gadgets and technology they can't even think of life without owing any of it, even the interaction among neighborhood is taking place on social platforms virtually, which was not the case in the by-gone era, the social peer pressure is increasing among youth and they making friends online getting like on their shared post can make them happy. This material obsession of buying new things in life just because they're going to happy is not for the long run. I agree that it does make the person happy but true happiness shouldn't depend on technology but on people around us. Serve humanity to help mankind.
