Princesses Disney Did and Did Not cover

Fairytale stories have served as a way to teach stories to others for a long time. Some original stories are tragic endings. There are many different variations and event sharing in stories such as these. Today I will specifically be referencing princesses; Starting with the ones Disney gave a spotlight:

1. Sleeping Beauty- One ending is of course Disney telling she woke up by a true love kiss. The darker side on the left is her stuck sleepwalking forever.

2. Belle- The left side is the Disney story of Belle getting with the beast and he turns back. The right is her getting with Gaston and hunting the beast.

3. Ariel- The left is Ariel ending up with Prince Eric and the right is her turning to sea foam.

4. Moana- The left is the water helping Moana and the right is her ending up falling down a lava chute in a sea cave

6. Rapunzel- The version on the right is where she lets down her hair and ends up with the prince. The left is where the witch cuts off her braid and lets down the hair herself to trap the prince.

7. Esmerelda- They took a princess who fought for misfits and outcasts, then Disney outcast her... ironic. The right is the Disney version where she stayed her free self and married Phoebus. The left is where she saves herself after her life is threatened by Frollo and marrying him to become pretentious.

8. Alice- She is not considered a princess by Disney, but I have always seen her as one. On the left she goes in and out of Wonderland as she pleases. On the right she stays lost because of broom dog sweeping up the trails and she only has the company of the mome raths while she tries to stay hidden from the Queen of Hearts.

Now for princesses Disney did not cover:

1. Princess and the Pea- For her colors, I gave her a green and pick dress. The green for the peas and the pink for pea blossoms. On the left is where it really was a pea and the right it was actually a watermelon so she could be made to look spoiled and dramatic.

2. Match Flame Princess- This princess I gave an orange flame look met her lover because he had a matchbox that would summon dogs when he lit it that would go visit her. On the left is where the dogs are cute and join the castle. The right is where he has to have savage dogs tear up the castle to be able to usurp the throne and be with his love because the king wouldn't let him be.

3. Princess Eliza Augustine- An ombre look for her with yellow on top for sunflowers and purple on bottom for roses. She started as a princess who on the left chose the prince who gave her purple roses and on the right chose a pig herder who gave her sunflowers. In the story on the right, she forfeited being a princess to stay on a farm.

4. Porcelain Princess- In this story the princess made of porcelain could not stand being stuck in a cabinet. She jumped form it to run free and not just be something to look at on a shelf. In the left she jumped and survives while her father is too weak and shatters to the ground trying to get her back. On the right, they both shatter to the ground. SNAPDRAGON!

5. Babette Bread Princess- A man falls for the wheat miller's daughter. The princess of pane. He wins a shooting tournament and ends up impressing her and they fall in love. The right shows them together and the left is a version where the man forgets that he left his heart to a water nymph before he met Babette and is taken down to her by a well.

6. Thistle Princess- Many people consider a pointy thistle to be a weed while in Scotland the plant is considered a flower. On the thistle side she is harsh and uses hornets to sting those who get close to her. On the left she softens a bit when she meets and makes friends with a man she eventually falls in love with. This leads her to become more like a blushing bride flower. Still some prickles, but softer.
