Happiness can often be found in the simplest pleasures that enrich our daily lives. It is the aroma of a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the morning, the warmth of the sunlight shining through the window, or the laughter of children playing in the park. These daily pleasures remind us to slow down, enjoy the moment and appreciate the beauty in life's small moments. Be grateful to nature and grateful to life for the things you take for granted. However, being born healthy is inherently a blessing.

A story that I really like is that of an Englishman, he was infected with Covid, and he was admitted to the hospital for treatment. A few weeks later, he recovered and was discharged from the hospital. The doctor who examined him sent him a bill for 250,000 pounds for giving him 15 minutes of oxygen.

And he looked at that bill and burst into tears.

The doctor thought that this man had no money. The new doctor said, no problem, if you don't have money to pay, you can pay in installments.

And he said, you know what? You said I'm not crying here because I don't have money. I'm crying here because I've been breathing for nearly 60, nearly 70 years now. Now I only have 15 minutes to breathe and I have to pay 250,000 pounds.

But I have been breathing this air for nearly 70 years. I did not realize its importance and forgot to cherish it.

Do you know what that story tells doctors about?

We are inheriting so many blessings in this world, but we take them for granted. We don't know how to appreciate it, we think we deserve it, that's natural, right?

Is it natural for us to have healthy limbs? Is it natural that we have grown up to this point? No, nothing happens naturally, everything has a cause, a root, a beginning.... We all know that our parents have raised us for countless years so that we can grow up. Our mother saved our lives for 9 months and 10 days. It is not natural that it has the shape we have today. Surely that doesn't exist. And it certainly cannot happen that we are here by accident.

Life is inherently fragile, a fleeting and precious gift that can be taken away in a moment. The boundary between life and death is often imperceptible, reminding us of the transient nature of our existence. In the face of this fragility, every moment becomes imbued with meaning, every experience an opportunity to appreciate the beauty and magic of life. Ordinary happiness becomes a beacon of light in the darkness, a reminder that even in the face of life's inevitable end, there is joy to be found in the simple act of being to live.

When faced with the awareness of our mortality, mundane happiness becomes more urgent. We learn to enjoy life's simple pleasures – walks in nature, laughter, the feeling of being alive – with deeper gratitude and appreciation. From the air we breathe to the food we eat, every aspect of our lives is intimately connected to the natural world.

By embracing the happiness around us and cultivating a mindset of gratitude and mindfulness, we can experience greater joy, satisfaction, and happiness in life. We have to look at it as a whole, our people are too small and this life is too short. If so, what should we do to be worthy of nature and do good things to be grateful for life, while honoring the beauty and magic of being alive, even in ordinary moments? best.
