It Won't Be Big News If The Party That Hates Russia Hates This

Russia's breakthrough announcement could hold promise for millions, but will the policymakers in the USA let us have it when it's available?

While scrolling during a storm today, I stumbled across an interesting tidbit. Of course, this would be of interest to someone in my shoes. But it’s also important to millions of children and adults who will die sooner rather than later, and it might save them.

Russia Announces Cancer Vaccine

It appears that the Russians (I know, not those guys) have a program that is showing promise in the fight against cancer. Personalised mRNA cancer vaccines are ready for clinical use.

Immediately, social media became abuzz with the potential hope of a breakthrough in cancer care. And while medical experts are urging restraint because the early data for Enteromix is still lacking, the promise of 60 to 80 percent reductions in tumors is a sign of hope. Russia is even working to implement free treatment to eligible patients.

Sure, it’s early. But, for those with…say, Stage IV, rapidly spread, advanced cancer, this is hope. It’s a hope for a better future, or any future. That is, of course, if you can do two things.

One, you’d have to outlast your cancer. That’s the goal for cancer patients.

Two, you’d have to see the system change. In the United States, there’s a relatively widespread feeling that the money involved in the “Big Pharma” racket would keep them from accepting a cure. There are reasons for that belief.

Billionaires and Millionaires in Elected Offices

The United States system is different than the rest of the world because even the medical system is predicated on capitalism. And with as many millionaires and billionaires as we, the voting public, have stupidly elected to office, it’s easy to believe that many of our elected leaders are invested in pharmaceuticals.

Such names as Rohit Khanna, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Josh Gottheimer, Tommy Tuberville, and many, many, many others are frequent traders in healthcare company stocks from such companies as Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Those were the good folks who fast-tracked the covid vaccines that our government forced a lot of people to get injected with. Those companies also made fortunes during the pandemic.

When it comes to healthcare, it’s naive to think that our leaders care more about our well-being than they do about getting rich.

We’ve literally seen congressional hearings detailing the hundreds of billions of dollars given to such things as foreign aid, transgender ideologies, and other things that occurred outside the United States. And don’t forget, the never-ending stock trades by Nancy Pelosi and Elizabeth Warren, ballooning their net worth.

By the way, if you want to see who’s invested in what healthcare or pharmaceutical company, or any other company, you can check here.

Don’t even get me started on the president. Wow, he’s exactly why so many of us felt comfortable with him the first time, but couldn’t vote for him again.

The greed of the US political leaders is shameful. And that’s why people don’t believe in them anymore.

So, when it came to light that Russia, a particularly hated country by the democratic party, had announced a potential vaccine for the plague of cancer, it should have been a sign of hope. But it wasn’t.

We can’t get people in our elected bodies to get along enough to cure cancer, not even for the children. And in a capitalist system like ours, treating cancer endlessly, instead of curing it, makes people rich.

Takeaway

The real power in this country isn’t the guy sitting at the desk in the Oval Office. It never has been. It rests with the chasers of money and power. Those rich business tycoons, lobbyists, and members of Congress who make six figures going in, and leave worth millions are where the real power lies.

The ultimate power is money. Those who have it have all the power in the world. Unfortunately, that doesn’t bode well for the rest of us unless we change it.
