You're already doing this job, and you never knew you'd been offered it. But are you taking full advantage? From the oldest things being sold to the newest ideas, to your social media. You're always selling. But are you getting the most out of what you sell?

Trillion Dollar Markets

There’s a market for digital products, like digital media, and if you can tap into it, you’re in a growth market with a 2.5 trillion annual value that’s likely to grow. A growth market that’s easy to get into is what every entrepreneur needs. And anybody can enter the digital product market.

What are digital products? Digital products are anything published in a digital format. And in todays world, transferring or publishing something to a digital form only requires some computer skill and practice. There are plenty of possibilities in several categories.

Digital products are easier to create, store, and distribute than physical or tangible products. Once you create a digital product, you can sell it forever without additional manufacturing costs. These features make digital products a great source of passive income.

Whether you want to make $1,000 a month or $500,000, things like Notion Templates are a good place to start in the digital marketplace. Well-designed Notion templates are pre-built workspace setups. They help people get things organized, like work, habits, or personal projects.

What do you have to sell?

Selling Digital Products

As the world goes more digital than ever, what can you sell in the digital marketplace? Do you have something people want, people need, or people will love? Take a look at your expertise. What do you know better than most people?

Ebooks, online courses, Notion templates, apps, and AI micro tools are all very successful and in-demand products.

But if you have something that you can show the world you do better than anyone, or you found some trick that works that is specialized or in demand, you can put together a digital product. Particularly if you’re good with presentations and can turn them into PDFs.

Chances are, you’re already selling in the digital world.

Everyday Digital Sales

People are selling digitally, and they don’t always see it that way. There are dozens of ways people sell digitally. The digital frontier is the most open marketplace in the world.

Think about what you did today. How many of you woke up and reached for a digital device, not even getting out of bed before you were checking messages, emails, Facebook, or other social media? What do you do in the middle of the night if you can’t fall back to sleep?

When you’re on Facebook, do you share? Pictures, videos, opinions, news, or advertisements for your favorite political representative? Are you sharing your thoughts about a better world, the need for more investment in cancer research, or a story you wrote on a popular writers' platform?

LinkedIn, a popular social media networking site, is for professionals to network and share information. There are also jobs listed there, and resumes can be shared on LinkedIn. If you’ve ever done that, you’re digitally trying to sell yourself to a potential employer.

With each share in the digital frontier, you’re effectively selling something. You may not be getting paid or making money. Perhaps you’re trying to spread a message. And you need to develop followers to get it out into the world. We’re all selling ourselves to the world in this current digital frontier we’re so addicted to, and it’s continuing to grow.

Look At What They’re Buying

People buying digital products aren’t hard to figure out. They’re buying things that help them to do something. Looking at the most popular digital ideas to sell online, what do you see?

  • Ebooks. People want to read digitally. It’s convenient in the digital frontier because people are attached to their devices more than to paper or hard-copy printed materials.

  • Online courses. People want to learn how to solve their problems, increase their skills, and grow and develop their lives. But who’s got time? Digital products allow them to do this at their convenience.

  • Templates. Templates help to organize things. Digital templates have taken the place of the old-fashioned organizer.

Learning and education, developing skills and self-improvement, and being organized are driving the digital markets. Even if you’re not a computer programmer and haven’t developed a plug-in or application, you can take your expertise and put it into the digital marketplace for sale.

Once you’re done, it’s there and will be. And that’s why it’s an appealing marketplace to get into.
