AI is designed to complement human intelligence, not to challenge it.

The launch of AI has changed the way people work. AI has made people’s jobs faster, easier, more convenient, and of course, a lot of times error-free, for that matter.

Although it’s great news for businesses, a lot of marketers, developers, and copywriters have raised concerns about the fact that AI can pose a threat to their jobs and replace them completely from the market.

However, there’s another group of people who are arguing that AI isn’t meant to replace humans and can never do so. As a matter of fact, AI was created with the intention of complementing human ability and intelligence rather than competing with it.

In saying so, there are various arguments that they present to support their argument, and I thoroughly agree with them. Let’s look at some of those agreements and see if they can convince you.

1. Humans Make AI Work

One of the major reasons why AI will never replace humans is that it’s humans who make AI work and not the other way around. There would be no AI if there was no human intelligence to think of something like it.

The data through which AI works are originally inputted by humans. So it's humans that are telling AI how to work. And it’s this data that is processed by AI to come up with results that are again used by humans.

So if AI becomes more competent in the future, it has to be with the help of humans. Without human intervention, AI cannot exist. This clearly proves that AI can never replace humans.

2. AI Lack of Creativity

AI works only with the data that’s available to them. So whatever output it generates is based on what is already available to it.

That’s why any output generated by Artificial intelligence lacks creativity, proper thinking, or judgment. Basically, it always struggles to generate creative output.

This is one of the major factors that keeps humans ahead of AI, no matter how advanced it becomes. Unlike AI, humans don’t really need a predesigned template to work upon.

Sure, templates can help them make things easier and faster, but they can also work on projects from scratch using their intelligence and creativity.

3. AI-Generated Facts are Inaccurate

Another major problem with AI is that you can’t blindly trust what it says. They are often inaccurate. So you can’t directly use them without checking if the facts are correct or not.

This means that no matter how convincing AI-generated facts might be, it needs humans to double-check them for accuracy.

4. AI isn’t Adaptable

When you run a business, you don’t know how and when the situation changes. To keep the game on, instead of waiting for things to turn in your favor, you need to adapt to the ongoing situation.

But when you use AI for your business, you can’t expect it to adapt to the changing situation and offer you effective results.

As mentioned before, AI runs on pre-built programs. So no matter how the situation is, it will use these programs to deliver the results.

Humans, on the other hand, are adaptable and can work according to situations.

5. AI Doesn’t Understand Ethics

Another major problem of using AI is that it doesn’t have any understanding of ethics or morality, so you can’t expect it to understand ethical implications either.

In many cases, humans are needed to make ethical decisions. This doesn’t happen when you’re using AI. Smart business owners won’t want to act unethically; rather than doing that, they would prefer not to use AI.
