2022 NFL Season Begins

The 2022 NFL season begins today. In the first place, the season opens up tonight with a weeknight game to begin. So, are you ready for kickoff?

When the season starts today; the first game will feature the Buffalo Bills against last year’s Super Bowl Champions, the Los Angeles Rams.

In fact, this game may be a prelude to two teams who could be in the Super Bowl.

Moreover, most people don’t know that typically the team that wins the Super Bowl plays in the first game of the season. However, that isn’t always the case. In prior years, a few teams didn’t host the opening game such as in 2013; the Broncos didn’t host the Ravens due to a scheduling conflict. And, in 2019, the New England Patriots opened their season on a Sunday night to begin their season.

2022 NFL Season Predictions

Of course, every season there are predictions. And, this season is no different. Surprisingly, the two teams playing today are both heavy favorites. So, the Bills are expected to be better than last year. Will they be the last team standing?

And, last year’s Super Bowl Champs are ranked No.3. One of the big question marks is Matthew Stafford who had an elbow injury last year. Though he played through it; he is still dealing with some soreness.

Though the season doesn’t kick off until today; there are several other teams predicted to go far this year such as:

• Kansas City Chiefs
• Tampa Bay Buccanneers
• Baltimore Ravens
• New England Patriots Predictions

Since Tom Brady left the Patriots; this team has lacked identity. Before the season starts, there are already predictions floating around that this year’s team will not make the playoffs. Time will tell.

In addition, Josh McDaniels left the Patriots to join the Las Vegas Raiders as head coach. Ultimately, his departure is sure to impact Mac Jones.

Also, many Sports Analysts don’t think Matt Patricia will do a good job being an offensive play caller for the first time and working as an offensive line coach.

Does Bill Belichick have a plan? Hopefully, he has some tricks up his sleeve, as the team didn’t look good during the pre-season and practice.

When the Patriots play on Sunday; they will have their work cut out for them as they haven’t done well in Miami.

Since I’m a Patriots fan; I have to share some of my personal favorites to wear.

It’s Game Day!

So, are you ready to watch the games?

Whether you are having a few friends over to watch a game or going tailgating; there are many things you can do to make game day a blast.

Order some finger food or have all your guests bring snacks. Additionally, you can set up a grill to make hamburgers and hot dogs. Or, you can order food to be delivered.

However, if you are trying to eat healthily; there are many healthy options. For instance, you can make fish or chicken tacos. All you need is some corn tortillas, and a flaky white fish or grilled chicken. Also, you can add some fresh shredded vegetables, and fresh minced garlic. and jalapeno peppers for some flavor.

Finally, set a side dip of guacamole and salsa for dipping.
