Game of Mass Destruction Night Two Part VI

Yuzuko had seen colonies of robots bigger than the one cornering them at the temple. The group was small compared to the army in her grandfather's factory. One would expect her to feel fear, the churning in her stomach and the goosebumps to freeze her as fear consumes her. Instead, she was still, ready to fight with her katana above her head. She had no reason to be afraid because she wasn't alone. She had Sakura, her best friends and all the new friends she had made on the game.

She followed Lavender's lead. The rest put their foot forward to start their attack. Unfair it seemed to pit twenty against a thousand. There was only seventeen of them left, but countless more robots to defeat. A wedding had turned into a fight for survival. Despite taking no hesitation to hack at the robots, she felt like a traitor.

"Sakura!" Yuzuko called. Cornered against the wall, she bit her lip in anger as Sakura dashed out of her sight. Robots shadowed over her, but they did not attack her. Screeching, she hurled onto the floor and slid between their legs. They trapped her foot, but she managed to break free by tripping them over.

Mariangela trambled all over them, piercing them with her staff. She helped Yuzuko onto her feet. "They won't hurt us," she told her.

"Why?"

Yuzuko could barely hear her over the clashing and gunshots. "Because she knows me and I'm friends with your grandmother."

Confused, Yuzuko almost lost her blade when it slipped onto her feet. "My grandmother's never mentioned you before."

"I'll explain later," Mariangela promised her. "Let's take these metallic bastards out first."

Out of everybody fighting, Yuzuko noticed the strong, the brave and the vulnerable. She didn't like to use the word weak, but if Sook-Jo was the most fragile of the group. Todd dragged Sook-Jo into his arms as a robot pushed them into the balcony before being decapitated by Aron's axe.

A robot tiptoed to the balcony where Todd had been knocked out. Yuzuko rushed to his aid, blocking its iron claws. He threw a dildo at it. The robot rotated in circles tippled over the balcony and fell to its death. There was no time to show Yuzuko's amusement, but she smiled at him for his effective imagination.

Rós had used her shield to push some robots down the stairs. Catherine threw grenades whilst her son waved his frying pan all over the place. She couldn't see what the others were doing, Yuzuko feared the worst.

The chaotic battle continued on until there was only one left. Yuzuko shivered as the robot examined its surroundings. It's eyes lit red at Yuzuko as it pointed at Kiki. "You two have betrayed us. Professor Denki would be furious. What happened to that sweet little girl I used to know?"

"DON'T LISTEN TO HIM!" Lavender marched up, carrying a trash can. "THEY'RE PLAYING MIND GAMES." She poured the contents over the robot. She released glitter from the bin, clogging its vital lines. Animatronic noises bruised their eardrums. Lavender dashed to the corner where Christian gripped her.

The robot was reduced to smokey rubble within a desert of glitter. Yuzuko looked over at Kiki and hugged her. She still felt cold, Sakura stepped away from her instead of running up to join the hug like Yuzuko had expected her to.

"Sakura?" Yuzuko held Kiki in her arms as she reached out for her girlfriend.

"I can't." Sakura shook her head, threw her claymore sword on the ground and ran. "I can't do this. You cheater!"

Welling up, Yuzuko crumbled to the floor. "SAKURA! WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG? COME BACK!"

"Ha!" Sia swung around in her office chair. "Poor baby. You're too good for that whiny bitch."

Sergeant Dust tucked in to some noodles. "It's understandable. Japan's society as a passionate marriage with technology and traditions."

"Sometimes I think it's good," Sergeant Dust admitted.

"Why not always?" Sia asked, playing with her hair.

"Because robots have more rights than my gay son." He slammed his food in the table and his arms tensed up. "He would have been 30 today. He'll never see his daughter grow up."

Sia tilted her head. "I'm sorry. But think it's all just silly. The world morns for one white boy, but nobody cares about the thousands of bodies being dumped in the river Nile."

Sergeant Dust turned his back on Sia. Fists clenched, he kicked the cabinet beside him. "I should have taken the bullet."

"What are you talking about?" Sia couldn't stop laughing. If he could he would beat the living daylights out of her.

"You wouldn't let me go to my son's funeral."

"Your family shouldn't have arranged the funeral in the middle of my show." Shrugging her shoulders, Sia patted Yuzuko's face on the screen. "Ah what a cutie, shame you inherited your grandfather's fat cheeks."

"And you wonder why I can't be with you..."
