Star Wars is a science fiction franchise set in a universe far far away.
The Reason Why Luke's Lightsaber Changed From Blue To Green In 'Return Of The Jedi'
In A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, lightsabers were presented as either blue or red. Obi-Wan Kenobi's lightsaber had a blue blade, which became associated with the Jedi, as did the one that he gave to Luke Skywalker. Darth Vader, however, had a red lightsaber, which then became forever associated with the Sith. This all changed in Return of the Jedi when Luke Skywalker had built himself a new lightsaber. His new lightsaber broke away from the established color standard that everyone had come to expect as this one was green. However, all of the original posters and promotional material for Return of the Jedi had Luke Skywalker using the traditional blue-bladed lightsaber. Luke Skywalker's blue lightsaber even made it into the trailers. Based on this you can imagine the audience’s surprise when the actual film had Luke Skywalker using a green-bladed lightsaber rather than a blue one.

Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismThe Five Disney 'Star Wars' Series I Want to See
Disney’s taken an interesting approach with their Star Wars series. They began with The Mandalorian – a nobody in the Star Wars universe. Arguably, they wanted to test receptivity to a series. When that was, for the most part, positive, they proceeded to announce a whole raft of new series introducing familiar characters they could use as touchpoints.
Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismCommenting On The Current State Of 'Star Wars' Comics
Comics have been a staple of the Star Wars franchise since its inception. With visual storytelling being such a big part of the DNA of Star Wars, of course comic books would play a big role. Going all the way back to when Marvel first held the license in the 70s and 80s, telling wacky stories of Luke, Han and Leia. It was very much the wild west of Star Wars storytelling at the time. Several bizarre adventures continued until the 90s, when the license went to Dark Horse and went on for several decades, until 2012 with the Disney buyout when the rights went back to Marvel.

It will not be long until the season finale of The Book of Boba Fett debuts on Disney+ on February 9th. Wow, we are already into the second month of the year. But what will be coming next? That is the question. No debut dates have been announced for any of the upcoming Star Wars series this year. Currently, all we know is that Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, The Mandalorian Season 3, and The Bad Batch Season 2 will come to Disney+ at some point during the year.

Tatooine seems to be quite the hub of scum and villainy and it is just relegated to Mos Eisley. The planet is the home of various criminals like Jabba the Hutt, one of the most notorious crime lords of all time. For a planet that Luke once considered farthest from anything interesting, it is the center of underworld activities.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming to Disney+ sooner rather than later. However, outside of one little tease for it, we have not really seen much in terms of any shots, trailers, or really anything. That does not mean the good folk down at Lucasfilm are not working hard on giving us the best series they could possibly hope for. It will hopefully feel more like a movie than just another television series. With that being said, trailers are going to be tantamount for promoting the Kenobi series. According to Kenobi actors, it seems that this series trailer will "blow our minds."

"Chapter 5: The Return of the Mandalorian" of The Book of Boba Fett wasted no time in bringing Din Djarin, modern Star Wars' famed Mandalorian, back in action on-screen. In catching his bounty, a nefarious butcher, Din once again showcases his expertise in combat by going for the "bring you in cold" option. Rather than guns blazing, the bounty hunter ignites the iconic Darksaber, cutting down the butcher's henchmen one by one with no mercy. However, despite his jack-of-all-trades nature in weapons mastery, Din observably struggles in wielding the ancient blade, even accidentally wounding his leg in the process.
