It's Really Not So Sweet Part 2 John W. Gilmore Mechanics And The Like--Chapter 2 Dinner was good. Despite that the meat was printed, it tasted great, like regular steak. The vegetables were also great. They had grown them themselves an a very small hydroponic farm. All of them took turns tending to the crops so everyone would learn. Brian was the specialist when it came to farming. He was passing on the information to others while they enjoyed the benefit of having good food.

It's Really Not So Sweet--Part 4 John W. Gilmore The Real Enemy--Chapter 7 I have never had such horrible dreams in my life. My God! I had been doing this since the Last War. My wife and children had died. I was distraught. I wanted revenge, but I didn't know who was at fault. Was it the enemy who had dropped the bomb? Was it the creators of the bomb shelter? Who was it? I began to look for answers.

It's Really Not So Sweet--Part 3 John W. Gilmore Sitting On A Sofa--Chapter 5 I slept well in the moving vehicle. It was smooth ride over the snow. Everything was quiet...no pounding rain on the roof, which was new. I loved the silence. I was sleeping in the loft bed this time, underneath the skylight, watching the snow fall onto the window and be blown off quickly from the motion of the van. I could lay like this all day since I was doing my job, traveling from one site to the next. I closed my eyes again.

13. Tightening Up Management Director Ngoyen looked down on the aborted luncheon with a gleam in his eye. His body had transformed in the most pleasant ways. The stiffness in his knee had almost gone totally by the time he woke up. With newly keen ears, he heard his general manager organize the management team. He would be useful in whipping this sad crew of wastes of flesh into a truly fantastic team! Looking down at the thickening flesh of his hands, he thought to himself , I will make these lazy Americans into warriors! Our division will be special! This change is my path to the CEO's office! Thinking these fantasies, he drew down his favorite office decoration. It was a perfect reproduction of an ancient sword from feudal Japan. It was so light in his hands now! Right then and there, he began belting the scabbard in place at his waist. He would take care of the terminations himself!

11. Damage Control Begins "This is not how it is supposed to happen! He did not fall asleep when the others did, and now he is one of the first to awaken. Not only that! The female seems to have avoided the crystal component exposure almost totally!" snarled the researcher.

9. Differences Noticed "Interesting! There is an obvious struggle for supremacy. The larger and more violent one should have drawn the female and won the conflict. And yet, the weaker male did not back down in the face of certain danger and potential loss of wealth. Thus he wins the conflict."

7. An Unexpected Reaction There were spectators to this primal drama. "Do you see? The new control subject sees a male infringing on his territory. The woman is obviously continuing in her pattern of rejection towards the overly aggressive male."
