Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a Cold War-era Red Scare parable about giant seed pods" from outer space. They suck the mental and physical attributes of sleeping humans and disgorge identical replicas of them. We know this because of the smooth, featureless body that is laid out later on a pool table, just waiting to assimilate the features of the bartender. This happens in Santa Mira, California. Where else?
Close Encounters of the Third KInd (Director's Cut)
***I've seen a UFO. Up close. Matter of fact, I've seen a couple of them. I don't know, specifically, what that means about ME, but, as far as the influence of the film Close Encounters of the Third Kind on m life, it WAS one of the first films from infanthood (along with Time After Time (1979) and Salem's Lot (1979), and the TV adaptation of the stage play of The Elephant Man (1982)) to indelibly etch its scenes into my subconscious. Especially the mantis-like alien that first appears during the final scenes of the film.

Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say, but when you are hit with an impact on your body from behind and your head hits the back of your helmet as you are thrusted forward into your spacewalk partner, when you collide helmet to helmet. She grabbed onto me and her arms flailing. I could hear her over the comlink but there was so much static I couldn’t make out a word she was saying. She kept pointing at the ship but the safety line was real tight and pulling us back it felt like, but because of the helmet and the tension on the tether I couldn’t look back to see what was going on. Then suddenly it was peaceful, the safety line loosened up and we were still hanging onto each other and then Yanisha stopped waving her arms.

The West Baltimore abductions
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. They say a lot that doesn’t make sense to me. It’s hard to follow the narrative when it’s always been written against me. The homes of millions have been roofed by lies and built over bones of the unloved and captured.

'The Adam Project' Director Reveals He'd Love To Direct A 'Star Wars' And/Or Marvel Movie
About a year ago, in a city far, far north… filming wrapped on Netflix’s The Adam Project. The film stars Ryan Reynolds as Adam Reed, a soldier from the future who crash lands in 2022 and has to team up with his younger self to save the world. It is an interesting concept, though one I doubt is all that original. It has just been released on Netflix and has already earned a fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes. Taking place on Earth, in our world, it seems about as far removed from the Star Wars galaxy as possible. However, the director would like to pay it a visit someday.

Pixar is no stranger to theories. Almost every movie they have made has some kind of theory surrounding it. Some are simple and clever like Andy’s mom being Jessie’s original owner in Toy Story 2, and some are downright terrifying like any attempt to explain what is going on in the world of Cars.

I remember seeing my first Star Wars film (Episode 4 A New Hope) when it was the first Star Wars film , and that huge spaceship that seemed to never stop as it just filled the cinema screen. How could something be that huge and move and be filmed. You know it’s just special effects that some guys put this together to impress you. This was pre CGI so it was all models and film retouching.
