fact or fiction
Is it science fact or science fiction? Futurism presents both sides to determine the truth.
The Power and Promise of Artificial Intelligence
Man-made consciousness (computer-based intelligence) is a state-of-the art field of software engineering that focuses on making machines and frameworks fit for reenacting human-like knowledge and dynamic cycles. It incorporates many advances, calculations, and approaches that empower PCs to perform undertakings that commonly require human mental capacities. Artificial intelligence has developed essentially throughout the long term, driven by progress in AI, information handling, and figuring power.
When the World Ends, Who will Survive?
Imagine a world where the end has come, but without the dramatic scenarios we often envision. No massive meteorites crashing down, no zombie invasions. Instead, people have developed interstellar travel and left Earth out of sheer boredom. However, some folks stayed behind, and unfortunately, they overslept the departure of the last spaceship. Several million individuals found themselves stranded on Earth with no infrastructure, electricity, economy, or internet. What would they do? How would they cope, behave, and survive in this solitary world? To grasp their potential actions, we can draw insights from video games.

Madhu GotetiPublished 9 months ago in FuturismThe Orgin Story of Bitcoin
Are you prepared for our imminent doom when AI becomes smarter than us and take over our world? If you hadn't thought of that as a possibility or thought it is just some crazy science fiction idea then you probably have no idea the origin story of the cryptocurrency bitcoin. Since you have not heard it or what you have heard may not be 100% truth let me tell you the story of the origin of bitcoin as a warning of what the future may look like. I believe we are on the brink of a full AI invasion and nobody seems to be worried about the inevitable. We trust computers with every aspect of our lives including our money, social life, and even our food. For this warning to take full effect I need to share this story with you. It was a rainy day in downtown Manhattan in the year 2008. Everything about this day seemed to be normal. Nothing exciting was happening on wall street except the everyday ups and downs of trade and business as usual. Nobody could imagine the life-changing science experiments taking place in the underground labs of two young men hiding in their secret lair beneath the city. For sake of not knowing we shall call these two men Fred and George. Fred the younger of the two loved computers and had been building them from before he could walk. To him, ram and motherboards were like that of legos to other children. But, up until this point, he had no idea what he was going to create. All Fred has was his crazy imagination and wish he could be more like a computer not having emotions.
