'Star Wars' Celebration 2022 Ticket Sale Update

It appears after three years that the Star Wars Celebration is finally coming back! Star Wars Celebration 2022 tickets will be officially going on sale on Tuesday, March 15th at 9:00 AM PST, and they are expected to sell out quickly. Star Wars Celebration is described as the ultimate fan experience with this highly anticipated convention attracting fans of all ages around the world to come and celebrate the cultural phenomenon that is Star Wars. At the convention, the guests experience days of major announcements, immersive exhibits, an interactive show floor, screenings, exclusive merchandise, and so much more. The 2022 Star Wars Celebration is set to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

Along with the announcement of the tickets going on sale, Star Wars Celebration posted this year’s poster for the event. While past posters had featured characters from the more recent films from the sequel trilogy, this poster showcases characters throughout the franchise. It has characters from the original trilogy such as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in the back while also showing Ahsoka Tano and the Mandalorian with Grogu sitting on his shoulder. The only character from the sequel trilogy that can be found is BB-8 on Luke Skywalker’s left side and of course R2-D2 on his right side. With this poster debut, it is likely that fans planning on attending the Star Wars Celebration can expect to see some fan-favorite stars. With the Obi-Wan Kenobi series premiering on May 25th, it is safe to say that the cast may make an appearance considering panels of big-name stars from the sequel trilogy had appeared in past Celebrations. Star Wars has enjoyed many successes over the past few years with shows like The Mandalorian, The Bad Batch, and the more recent The Book of Boba Fett. There may also be more information at this year’s Star Wars Celebration following the circulating rumors about a Darth Maul animated series along with possible news for the highly anticipated Ahsoka series and the new Andor series set to premiere sometime in 2022. If there is news worth hearing about Star Wars, chances are you will find them here at Star Wars Celebration.

Any fans new or seasoned planning on attending this year’s Star Wars Celebration should know about there are a few new steps required to attend the convention. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, Star Wars Celebration will be requiring attendees to be fully vaccinated for everyone ages 5 and up. They will also be asking all attendees to wear a face mask while enjoying everything they have to offer to help keep everyone safe.

As fans are getting excited about attending the Star Wars Celebration, be sure to get your tickets soon! Currently, the ticket for the whole four days is $195 for adults and $70 a child with the requirement of the purchase of an adult ticket. If you do not want to go for the full four days, then there is the option for a single-day ticket at $75 dollars for an adult and $35 for a child with the requirement of the purchase of an adult ticket as well. Superfans will have the chance to purchase the Jedi Master ticket, which will give you premier access to the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim such as the use of the Lightspeed Lane for several purposes, priority access to all panels on the Celebration stage, access to the Jedi Lounge, and so much more. The only catch for this amazing ticket is the price set at $900.
