'Star Wars' Celebration 2022 Drops Amazing Poster Featuring Fan-Favorite Characters

Star Wars Celebration is back this May of 2022! There are so many new characters since the COVID-19 pandemic put the annual Celebration on hold. The main poster for the 2022 Celebration depicts the new characters and familiar characters from previous theatrical productions. Before the pandemic, Disney+ has been working hard, bringing new characters to the Star Wars saga. In addition, the Disney+ Star Wars series has started to fill in the gaps between Star Wars films.

The new poster looks cool! The four-day event (May 26-29) of Star Wars Celebration should be exciting, busy, and tons of fun! While mostly keeping in touch on social media, Star Wars fans will finally be able to see each other in person again for the first time in three years! The day before Celebration begins, Obi-Wan Kenobi will debut on May 25. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen return as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader). Down the street from the Anaheim Convention Center is Disneyland, where on Friday, May 27, Star Wars Nights will be going on at Galaxy’s Edge.

The striking new Star Wars Celebration Poster portrays Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, Din Djarin, Grogu, Ahsoka Tano, and Luke Skywalker in a silhouette in Darth Vader’s towering shadow. In the background, a pair of AT-ST Walkers stand at attention. While Boba Fett’s Firespray, a couple of X-wings, TIE Fighters, and Sar Destroyers fly by the second Death Star. To top it off, you have BB-8 and R2-D2 on each side of the Din Djarin silhouette. Literally, every saga is represented. The ticket for the weekend goes back on sale on March 15 at 9:00AM PST. COVID-19 restrictions will be in place. Anyone older than 5 years old must show proof of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the FDA or WHO. Star Wars Celebration has been around since 1999 and has been showcased in different locations within the United States, Europe, the UK, and Japan. This year it is in Anaheim, California, as it was scheduled for 2020. During the convention, Star Wars fans will get to see some of the actors and actresses who have made Star Wars what it is today. There will be panels where artists, producers, and writers discuss their roles in the Star Wars Universe. Fans will be exposed to new and exciting film productions, products, art, and comics. There will be awesome Star Wars merchandise to explore and purchase. Some of the trailers expected to be on display at Star Wars Celebration 2022 are Andor, the trailer for The Bad Batch (the release date is still unknown), Season 2, and the trailer for The Mandalorian, Season 3.

It will be interesting to see what happens this year with all the new productions in the works. A lot of new actors and characters to see. Many fans have been waiting for this year’s Celebration for a few reasons, all the Disney+ series in the Star Wars Universe and just to get back to normal, socially. The COVID-19 pandemic has put a lot of restrictions in place. Although it is great to have Celebration back again, many fans will be cautious and possibly unnerved by being in an enclosed space with thousands of other humans. But experiencing a significant event indoors like Star Wars Celebration will be exciting and invigorating. There is much to be excited about because of the Star Wars Celebration. So many things have changed in the Star Wars Universe.
